That job looks like a total pain in the ass to do! Why couldn't Toyota just use an inline filter attached to the gas line. I have had Hondas, VWs and Fords with in line gas filters that were easy to change every 100,000km.

I love that this says fuel filter for the video but it's about repairing a fuel pump.

You gotta be kidding me. You went thru all that time, effort and the cost of the parts and you didn't spend a few bucks more to replace that filthy fuel strainer.

This sounds just like my car, I’m at my wits end. I’ve taken it to theee mechanic shops already and poured so much money into it and still my car is broke down on the side of the road with me and my kids in it right now. It dies after a short time of driving it or if I go above a certain speed and takes like an hour to turn back on. I’m missing my dead grandmas ceremony right now and so crushed. I’m just going to check it myself and see if this is it. It has to be. I did replace the fuel pump too, but idk if it’s good or if it’s just the filter getting clogged

Hi. I just asked Toyota dealer about fuel filter , and they answered me that it does not need to change fuel filter because it is installed in the tank. They recommend not to touch fuel filter on lifetime. But your old fuel filter looks pretty dirty. My car is 2011 Camry 230k. Do I need to change it? or not?

I can’t find the filter,no body has it they have the whole thing including the pump.

That's a fuel pump. The fuel filter is in the front under the hood.
