Nice fix I'm here because i faced the same issue today, i took the steering lock column off, opened and powered the actuator but it won't turn, I'll be getting a used or probably brand new part and fix, hope it solves my issue,
@globalcommerce7654 You didn't specify the tool, but you're right in terms of watching, as when I rewatched it, I realised there is a bolt on the inside of the collar. I was hoping to get it off without unbolting it. Wish me luck as these sheer bolts aren't coming off
