This is fantastic car with undeniable build quality. Here in dubai 99% of the taxi cars are camry. They will change the cars only when the odometer reaches more than 7lakhs km. Even iam currently using a 2006 corolla here which has already finished 7 lakhs km and still its running.
I have been driving this car since past 2 years here in Canada. It’s one hell of a dream come true car. Amazing build, design, comfort and driving dynamics. Currently it has 1,15,000 km on odometer and still rides like a new car. Will definitely consider buying this car upon my return to India.
@@mkmkmk845actually, here in Canada, we don’t really care much about audi, bmw or Mercedes!! Camry is considered much more better than the entry level Mercedes here!
@@saswatsnayak102030 What I mean is price range in which Camry is sold in India is too close to entry level bmw/audi. So people end buying these not Camry.
Camry has always been a bit low on sales due to the pricing. Falls between the point where most of them will pick a SUV or a luxury sedan. Sedan segment is already reducing in India due to CSUV's. Hope they bring back Corolla or Yaris(with a better design). Still see a lot of Corollas on road with ODO crossing over lakhs of kilometers. Also Toyota India has stopped taking Innova Diesel Bookings.
Well just like Suzuki did Toyota and other carmakers r follow the same path and will do for pressurized carbon neutrality restrictions to just fade away from diesel market
We had a 2002 camry LE V6 which was superb. Did 300K kms on it and it was still like new(both from interior, exterior and engine wise). Sadly it got involved in a car accident recently and was declared a total loss, but it saved the life of my sister who was driving it in a very bad accident! Still miss that car and its V6 engine which performed even better some of the recent new cars.
The price hike for on road is ridiculous when comparing India vs North America. 54 lakh in India, which is $80 000 in Canada for the only variant available - 4 cylinder + Hybrid system. In Canada, 3 variants are available. 4 cylinder, 4 cylinder Hybrid and V6 AWD. Fully loaded Toyota Camry V6 XSE would be around $55 000 on road here, 35 lakh INR average conversion rate.
Bro this car is just a amazing car no one can compete with this. It's not real value of money is India. I bought this car in 2019 new sport model and It was best and best. Value of money is Australia as it cost half the price as compare to India. Best review of car bhai.
For long term? Yes If you gonna skip to another car within 5 years then still because it is pretty reliable and low cost maintenance compare to its rivals in that price Very silent and no nonsense car
Depends on how you look at it, the camry is an excellent car, but of all the features that it has, the most important one is “peace of mind”. You can buy this car, use it as rough as you want and still not worry about damaging it or raking up costs. That’s priceless
I would pay 35-40L for this car, hoping Toyota's flagship Sedan won't disappoint me for it's 12-15years of life. But 50L is too much. 50L would have made sense if it's electric range was at least 40KM (over existing 2-3KM).

Camry is not a cbu, it's imported as a skd( semi-knocked down). It means it comes as a major kits. Camry is assembled in india. Camry attracts import duty of 12lakh. Only vellfire and lc is imported as a cbu.
No car on the planet can match the reliability of camry. The word reliability comes from camry itself. Not being a fanboy, only other cars that come close to camry in terms of reliability are corolla and accord .
