The biggest issue I had when I started to do my own oil changes was what to do with the filthy tub I used to collect the oil. No matter where you put it it ends up spreading black oil over something. Now what I do is line the tub with a plastic bag. Then when I’m finished I put a funnel into an empty oil container, snip off a tiny corner of the bag, and pop it in the funnel. Voila! No mess and a clean tub which can be used for other things until the next oil change.

The gas cap is what you remove to pump gas into the car. The oil cap is what you remove to add oil to the engine. And yes, one should always go with the oil weight specified on the cap. Good video! 👍

Easy for you guys. Our model seems to have a metal block where you pour the oil and you can only pour it in at about 50 mil at a time if you’re lucky. I’m sitting here and it’s taking me all fucking day.

Dude just a remainder than when u pour the new oil do it slowly because the hole has a little restriction to get in , i did that an i got some spills

Get plastic gloves !!! You put oil on the Filter seal because it makes it easier to take off next time. You also tightened the filter on too hard. Screw it on until it is tight. Then turn filter 1/4 turn, maybe a tad more. I guarantee next time your filter will be hard to take off
