My grandfather started off with a 72 model Corolla and later my father bought every model till date. Alhamdullilah 3 corolla (Grande 2014, gli 1.3 manual 2016, gli 2017 1.3 auto) abhi hamare paas hain aur nai grande abhi book karwai hai. Corolla is the most relliable car in pakistan in terms of drive, efficiency and especially comfort. It is unbeatable in its league. Humne civic bhi rakhi hai lekin jisne Corolla rakhi ho wo Honda civic ya city ke upar thooke bhi na. Meri dua hai ke jo aaj ye reviews dekh rhe hain lekin afford nhi kar sakte kal tak Allah unki bhi khuaishein puri kare.
"jis ne corolla rakhi wo civic pe thookay ga bhi nahi." utter bullshit. corolla is worst car in it's segment as compared to civic and elantra as compared in drive . poor grip, poor handling, poor stability and the worst seats i have experienced in a car. hard, uncomfortable and just awkward seating position. MY father bought a Grande in 2019 and bought a Civic in 2019, and he drove civic and grande both for a year. And i have never seen him hate a car as much i have seen him hate Grande. He was repulsed by it's presence so much that he sold it off with a loss of 3 lakhs and it didn't matter to him, bcz of how much he hated the car. My mother was always a Honda lover, just like me, but my father had a soft spot for corolla. but after his 2019-2020 ownership of Grande, he was fully converted Honda Fan. He mostly liked corolla bcz of it's low operating cost, and it's good comfort. but he said, that grande is the worst car he has driven in the past 10 years han corolla reliable hai is may koi shaq nahi hai. build quality bhi civic say thori si behtar hai, lekin Civic is just much better in interior and exterior design and overall feel.
My Father bought Toyota Corolla in 1979 From Germany I have still that car and Today I bought Toyota Corolla 2019 Grande after 40 Years.I am a brand Loyal.An Example for Toyota Lovers.

After 1000km maintenance is necessary and should be encouraged. Because all the bolts and nuts of engine, transmission gets a little bit loose and sealing thickness gets thin after some specified heating or wear tear( which is recorded to be 1000km). It is necessary, to avoid engine leaks, rattling sound and blow up engine head gaskets in long run. Metals and gaskets have some tensile, strain properties which change after a certain physical changes(temperature, pressure etc).

I just took delivery of my brand new GLI on 14/07/2020. Yaris ko itna pasand nahi kia gia. So GLI aur XKI pey oonn (premium) chal raha hai. Mujhay yeah gaari 3 million ki pari hai. However no regrets. Much better and spacious than yaris. And not under powered at all for city driving. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Just to add that 2001 Civic 7th Gen was first to introduce Flat rear Floor, Driver seat height adjustment (manual), Retractable side Mirrors and most importantly 4 wheel Disc ABS with EBD in local cars. Toyota was first to introduce the single driver side airbag with 4 spoke steering in 1998 1.6 GLI & SE LTD variants. Not to mention it was the first EFI local car in 1994. SE Saloon 2002 had Electronic Fuel Cut.
Fnaf Bear bruv. City 1.3 is comparable to gli 1.3. Since xli doesnt have powerlocks power windows and basic things like airbags and abs (although facelift does).
Sunil Bhai haven't seen your review on Axio and Premio which are I guess thousand times better cars than these local cars. Even their old models like 2007,08 are much better than latter and recent models of GLI like 2017,18 I guess so. Waiting for your review on Axio 2007 model Lots of love, be blessed❤️

Sir, First Service is not for only bolt tightening. Its for check engine performance , initial condition check up. Because after all its a machine. Please see owners manual. For first 1000 kms don,t drive sudden acceleration, don't lock accelerator etc etc...
I faced an issue with left door in brand new gli 2019 automatic. It was producing unusual sound while closing the door. Took it to toyota airport lahore. The denter manually lifted the door to adjust the alignment.
That was on pre-facelift if I remember correctly. And it's not hurting anyone to know the insight of the two different owner’s experience with the same car.
Miss those days when pakwheels reviews were used to be informative and the owners had such insight about their cars. Now they are just focusing on influencers who unfortunately don’t know much about cars.
Very good review Suneel Bhai, and you know this car very well. I also drove it for 3 years. Yes, it is sluggish on highways. Probably the engine doesn’t match this gearbox well, though it’s a very reliable combination. Manual is much faster and economical on fuel. The Bluetooth is very complicated. Generally it’s a reliable car with spacious interior and quite bit trunk. Suspension is quite good, the tires that are fitted from factory are a bit slippery but that is not an issue if you drive it carefully and without sudden breaking.
i don't think it has anything to do with the gear box. 1.3 litr engine for car this size is extremely small. 1.6 engine has a much better performance as the engine does not have to push to much. the 1,3 engine needs to be floored alot to get a satisfactory response which in turn worsens fuel average.
Meri Gli 2019 ke front passenger door me Dent par gaya hay.. What should I do, should i go to Toyota for repair or to local market. Friends please give your valuable suggestions.. I have driven only 11k.. Some Pig hit my car in the parking area.. 😠
:) Farhan Sahab, now to the video, car looks great and interior is also good, I am impressed with its back passenger space however in this amount Toyota should provide Alloy, Andriod screen, retractable mirrors, back camera.
Tip: if you drive this car on a comparatively low speed on motorways e.g 100-105 kmph. It will give a very impressive avg, travelled 645 km in one day on a 40 liter tank filled giving an average of 16+. City mein 11 se ziada iski nhi he avg.
In city this car gives 10.3 - 10.7km/l and on motorway it gives 11 -11.5 km/l depends on your driving skills. It's slightly under power on 40 -50 km/h and on higer speed its normal , runs comfortably at 140 km/h and higer speed than 140 km/ h it vibrates.

Agree with the interior quality. Need to give more attention to center arm rest and center ac vents.The center arm rest need to have soft touch material. It shouldn’t be hard plastic. Need to ad a Charging socket for passengers seats as well.
