Once I was driving this car from abbotabad to Peshawar through motorway because I left home bit early so I had enough time to reach Peshawar so i tried to get maximum fuel average and it was giving me 19km/l throughout my journey. I would say it's amazing car for calm foot and cool head on shoulder.
I have Altis 2019 model, I am very much satisfied with its fuel average, as it gives me 17 per litre @ of speed 110 on motorway and 16 at a speed of 120. While in local minimum 10,all depends on driving habits.
Though it's way too expensive right now, but it was a great bang for the buck back in end of 2017 costing 21.5 lakhs when facelift was first introduced.
WOW to see such a quality car reviews in Pakistan which is very rare. Very much technical, up to date and sound comments. Someone commented is absolutely correct that it is underrated channel against such a good reviews as compared to some rubbish youtubers in market how come they have a large subscriber base. I have the same Altis 1.6 I am agree with the whole review except about the speakers quality , I am totally impressed with speakers quality , louder than any other car comparative to Altis , it got built-in woofers with heart wrecking base ❤️
Excellent review. However, there is an issue with some of the Altis 1.6' 1ZR-FE engines, and that is a defective VVTi actuator that causes a cold start rattle upon start-up. Some Grande 1.8L users have also reported this issue. Common problem with the ZR series engines. This problem may develop at any stage. My Altis 1.6L developed a cold start rattle before reaching the 30,000 kms mark. Unfortunately, the only fix for it is a replacement of the VVTi actuator. Using a thicker oil, such as a 5w50 or a 10w40 may dampen the sound but is not a fix and could degrade engine performance.

Our 2015 Corolla GLi gives the average of 15-16 when driven on straight roads (long) if the car is driven around 2000 rpm. In city, it gives 12-13 average

A suggestion: In any review, while comparing a given vehicle withe other in the same category, can you guys also comment about other available options in the same or close price range? Like how would you compare Corolla Altis 2020 with Honda BRV 2020, (both cost around 3.3 - 3.5 million), almost same price range. what would you advise to someone with a budget of 3 -3.5 million?

Hence, we only compared it to the car of its category. In terms of buying decision, we’ve mentioned in our review of BR-V that it’s a very practical utility vehicle. In my opinion, BR-V is targeted towards big families with constant need of using either 7 seats or carrying a lot of luggage. Otherwise, a sedan like Altis 1.6 would be suitable for anyone who travels alone or with 1 or 2 passengers.

Brothers I also have this same Corolla Altis 1.6 and it gives 11 to 11.5 with AC in city and I have taken this car to long route and it easily gives 15 to 16 km/l with AC if you maintain 120 km/h it's my personal experience which I am sharing.
Great review,keep it up sir ,also my altis is giving me an average of 11 Km per litre in city,but average changes according to driving habit and conditions around,engine oil etc,,According to my knowledge zero to hundred is tested while gear is on L not D ,means you shift yourself,from L to 2 ,and then 3 to D .

I just took delivery of my brand new GLI A/T on 14/07/2020. Yaris ko itna pasand nahi kia gia. So GLI aur XLI pey oonn (premium) chal raha hai. Mujhay yeah gaari 3 million ki pari hai. However no regrets. Much better and spacious than yaris. And not under powered at all for city driving. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I would like to disagree on your comment about Yokohama tyres. Theses tyres are extremely comfort biased because of a very soft compound of rubber. Also, they are marketed as a quiet tyre. It is just the fact that Corolla is not a luxury car so just has very basic cabin insulation.
I had the same issue with rear view mirror, but then I read user manual and found out mirror height is also adjustable but it takes a bit more force, u can use 2 hands to adjust the joint that sticks to the screen and then adjust mirror with one hand only adjust the joint behind the mirror.
I think this is not 2020 model because since 2018 Toyota altis 1.6 head unit was changed to bigger screen and better back camera. Correct me if i am wrong.

Nice review. Thumbs up but I dont agree with your fuel consumption figures. 1st of all it highly depends on your driving style. For a normal medium driver like me, it gives me about 12-13 in city and 14-15-16 on highway
I own this car 1.6 every thing you said is true but it’s road grip is very bad it doesn’t stick to the road after crossing 140 km/h speed even on motor ways plus it’s way too bad on emergency stopping conditions on any surface. Which is a big hazard to the driver and passengers. As a whole it’s looks ,fuel average, built quality and comfort is good as compare to its competitors .
Hi. In altis 1.6 manual online video is stopped as soon as car is put on driving mode. Only audio is available. But as soon as its parked there is is audio and video both available. Is it malfunctioning of car
First of all, this car dont deserve 32 lacs at all . Secondly, at 16:03 , he was scared , k kahien toyota case na kar de. K negative aur price ka negative kyun kaha. Humaray yahan log dartay hain. Like him. Bhai ye gaari lenay wala sab se bara pagal hai. 32 lacs ki kahien se bhi nahi hai.
is there any suspension difference between altis 1.6 & grande ? back in 2012 , 13 indus motors launched gli 1.6 which has the same suspension as in 1.3 gli . What about altis 1.6 suspension from 2014 onwards .

Sir jee please advise as someone told me that the manual variant has no resale and 1.6 is not good in manual transmission? W’Salam, if you’re thinking of keeping it for 4-5 years then go for it. Manual cars in Pakistan generally have lower resale (except in some rare cases).
I have Altis 1.6 2018 model. No doubt this car is good and durable. But I am having one issue that this car cranks too long when I start after one hour in morning it starts. I have checked fuel pressure from Toyota and it is ok moreover I have also changed the battery but still it is same. Can someone tell that what could be the possibility?
Check the plug of this car Either it requires tunning or needs to change these Also fill the tank wid high octane oil ,twice in a month Its put better result...
Car is only driven 20000km. I have already done tuning. Maybe the problem could be in fuel assembly or fuel filter. I will go to dealership again and ask them to fix it. It is manufacturing fault
Dr. Yasir Arafat I guess you also have Altis 1.6. Is your car working fine? Apart from this fault car is very good as it performs well on rough terrain and hilly areas.

Car is good but i had a bad experience for my brand new Altis 1.6. Front left wheel bearing failed just after 12000 kms running with safe driving on Gt rd and motorway

Thanks for liking the content. It’s entirely up-to you. If you prefer the X bodykit of the Corolla then book a new one otherwise get a slightly used Corolla.
How is it possible that your specific car doesn't have seat height adjustment. I think this feature came in end 2018. I have march 2019 altis 1.6 and it has that feature
