Lyimo Ej You are exactly right. I have the 2018 Camry Le and the transmission jerks and lurches and the Toyota dealer says this is normal for the CVT transmission. Not fun to drive plus all that jerking and lurching can’t be good for longevity. Wish I had bought something else.

+Y10Q actually Japanese have a word for thier manufacturing precision autonomation "automation with a human touch." Most Japanese factories have less robots than a Korean or EU/US factory think about it a robot can only get so precise in certain millimeters, where as humans can get very precise and have a attention to detail that robots just can't match.
+Y10Q theres a big difference in if the car is made in japan or its a japanese brand assembled in lets say france. the old toyotas/nissans/hondas from japan are indestructible. the ones made in europe are not nearly as good and use german parts which dont last as long as a japan made.
roodles prease humans get tired and when they get tired, they don't care about quality or precision. Robots repeat the same task exactly, million times a day if they are made to do that. They dont get tired.
