Bought mine 5 years ago 4000$ CDN.CE model stick. Today it Carries 196000 Kms. First mod I did after I bought it was to change the audio system. The brake pads, rotors ad did the clutch. Beside that it is slow but I enjoy a ‘Rolla.

My very basic 2004 Corolla CE lasted 310,000 miles. It’s not that it broke down, but it was hit by a drunk driver when it was parked in the street. Totaled. So I replaced that car with a 2008 Lexus IS250. It’s kind of an upgrade because that car is a luxury V6 sedan that’s way smoother and better insulated. I do miss my Corolla. It was a phenomenal car. Many memories, it was my first car.

Man, that is relatable. My first car was an '03 Corolla stickshift. Had it for nearly 12 years, and just recently blew the engine at around 313k miles. It had started burning through coolant without me realizing, and ended up overheating. Fantastic car.

This is my first and current car. Bought it for 6k in 2017 with only 50k miles on it. Currently at 120k miles and havent had a single thing wrong with it. Fits adults great in the back seat and gets over 30 highway. I threw in a apple carplay headunit and ill drive it until it blows up. So lucky I found it.

Don't forget to replace the transmission fluid every 50k miles with actual Toyota fluid and never have it flushed. Just a simple transmission fluid drain and transmission filter change.

Bought my first car last month ,a 2012 Toyota Corolla 1.3 vvti with 320,000km mileage for price equivalent of $4000 here in Botswana 🇧🇼 . Hey just trying to avoid loans and high maintenance cars,plus my folks own 3 Toyotas currently with more than 200,000km mileage each,so why not. Just a few things to do to it like brake pads,new tyres,shocks but still runs okay and clean.

I just bought an '08 with 170k for $2k. One little rust spot & paint isn't great, but still a good looking car with really clean interior. The only thing that would make this perfect (for a Corolla) would be a manual transmission. I travel a lot for work, often working from my vehicle for 12-16 hour shifts so a reliable, economical, & comfy vehicle with storage room will be nice. I'll miss my '00 Jeep XJ Cherokee, but I'll save that for when the snow gets deep & 4x4 is a must. Speaking of which these get around great in snow & ice if you put a set of dedicated snow tires up front.

185,000 miles on a corolla only means something if it never had the oil changed. I'm not sure if that 1zz has the precat issue the MR2 Spyders do. Otherwise I'm fairly certain that's a 500k mile motor.

@bag2963
@bag2963 Год назад
@@ZentRose Yes I've seen the video where you talk about it, but I live in Europe so junkyard thing isn't an option it would be interesting tho, but I found two jobs- 10 hours worktime dispatcher with a decent pay and real estate agent/broker, I'm not sure which would have more flexible schedule and pay, while broker max pay was like ₾9000-12000, while dispatcher's max was ₾4500, it must be about experience. I'll be a building systems engineer when I graduate and there's one $30 000 concrete scanner which if I learn would be the best option, because I'll gain experience and after finishing just one object I'll be able to buy a car.

@@ZentRose Also I don't have a car to do delivery stuff, I'm into skateboarding and laptops quite a bit when I'll have money I'll think about importing(laptops and parts from ebay and skate parts on sales).
