I've been to Colorado, it's amazing, everything is pretty everywhere, but their air port has an Aztec theme which is kind of a mind fuck when you 1st step off the plane.
FJs are the best thing you can buy if you live outside the city and do not have paved roads but other than that they're horrid. Drive one on the highway and you'll see what I mean. Blindspots everywhere and with the aerodynamic design of my stove, you feel like a brick in a wind tunnel.
I'm looking into getting an fj which brought me to this video and then I'm like this looks so much like flagstaff mountain and I realized it probably was when you said something about Denver. :)
It's a great alternative to Jeep Wrangler. The engine loves high rpm. It does great going uphill. The Honda driver who fried his break pads, must've not had the ability to engine break. I've owned FJ in the past and I currently 4 runners. Dropping into lower gears is so much better than riding your breaks, you have better control and the engine responds better.
Well I got an exhaust leak on the manifold and Boy does it not like high revs. I find 2.5rpm to be the limit before it sounds like a civic at 3am. So I shift at 2.5 rpm. It's got lots of torque low end allowing me to never have to downshift to 5th on highway cruising.
Wow, what a beautiful place. Went to yosemite national park on my last trip to the states and wanted to go back but I'm going to Colorado next time instead!!
HAHA Just like me, "we need to find a place to turn around..." pass a couple places to turn around... I usually get frustrated after a while and say fuck it and just do it in the middle of the street! I'm not usually in such a monster of a vehicle though! LoL
That road is nothing if you've been off pavement. Colorado has some beautiful scenery you won't see on the road. Jeep roads can dial up the pucker factor, though.
I love fj because it's an adventure car but the fact that it has so much wind noise at highway speeds limits it to offroading. People try to compare fjs to 4runners, well 4 runners totally suck at offroading while on highways its like sitting in topnotch luxury vehicle WITH LIMITED OPTIONS.
The wind noise is doable and not that bad for me. I got a lightbar on Aswell. The thing that annoys me is the exaust leak I got thats Louder than the windows down at 70
You should get a harness that puts the camera at the top of your chest. Also, I think you have a smudge on your lens. I saw it in the review video and it's on this video too.
