Im driving xuv 500 w8 from 10 years and it has crossed 4 lacks km easily i can say that mahindra diesel are same reliable as toyota hats off to mahindra
I am seriously considering the Mahindra, I have looked a numerous reviews and the underlying element the keeps coming to the fore is you get a great car at a good price not an ok car at a cheap price. I look for a vehicle that provides me with a great ride and prestige is a secondary consideration. I work in Australia with a number of people originally from India and they were incredibly proud of their country’s vehicles, and I respect their views immensely 👍🏻 another great review

Actually you should keep studying till you find a good job to earn money then invest some of your earnings into SIPs (yeah, it takes a lot of research before investing) after you've earned good amount then you should start a small business or maybe own some properties, don't avoid doing hard work. It is THE only way, and there is no shortcut to earn legal money. 😊
We had scorpio m2di for 12 years . I can say mahindras diesel are reliable as toyota. Currently having xuv 300 which crossed 50K km flawlessly. Appreciations to mahindra for maintaining legacy of scorpio and coming up with vehicle which is as capable and even better in some areas to fortuner that too at almost half the price. Which is evident by scorpio N outselling fortuner. What toyota gives at 50L mahindra gives at 25 L thats the competency it have

My plan was Ford Endeavour but with covid all my financial were disturb and when I came back on track Ford exit India. I was looking for second hand Ford Endeavour but my friend suggested to take test drive of Scorpio N. I had very negetive image of Mahindra brand before I took test drive but after that my mind completely changed. It is not just value for money but more value of our money. Simply great. Best part is performance and handelling.

Reliability is no more a issue when it comes to Mahindra we had scorpio sle 2008 for 15 years drove it over 1.25 lakh km and still its engine is in very good condition.

Atleast mahindra is going techy with time whereas Toyota couldn't even upgrade their age old infotainment beside they took out JBL system out . Making less feature loaded vehicle is easy but taking customers for granted and asking exorbitant amount of money is bad

Initially XUV 500 had problems but later it became reliable when mahindra introduced di engine in 2006 it had problems we got our Scorpio m2di in 2007 and our lasted for 13 years and 1.5 lakh km
Have driven Scorpio N Z8L manual 10000 KMS with an average of 15.5 in city. Great SUV with great features and price point. Fortuner (as rightly mentioned) is a brand or a status statement. But nevertheless its an equally great SUV which has established itself in due course. But Scorpio N has its own shortcomings: a. Middle row seats are fixed. Trust me, its a big practical disadvantage. Even a small 1-2 inch rail would have given a flexibility to arrange the space in middle and last rows. Ertiga (my last car) had it so I really miss that feature. b. Absence of ventilated seats (even in the top model). Again a must have feature for Indian weather specifically for SUVs which are meant to be driven for long distances.
Motoroctane assigned scores, Scorpio-N vs Fortuner - 49 vs 44. Scorpio-n better in Music, Features, Ride Comfort, Handling, Steering; in Scorpio-N people are getting almost 85-90% of Fortuner (the normal one and not legender which is even more overpriced) at 55-60% cost with 5-Star Safety rating. Mahindra has given us a great product and we should appreciate it!!
Scorpio N's interior is better no issue and also it is brighter than fortuner. Fortuner's interior or dashboard feels like I was under somewhere covered . And as an Indian I prefer deshi.

I think a test that might be helpful is the sound decibel when the car is moving about 100km/hr. It starts getting annoying during long rides when you continuously hear the wind sounds.
Yeah the price difference between them is almost double. But the legroom and comfort of fortuner is far better than scorpioN. No hate for scorpioN but iska rear shuru hote hi khatam hojatha hai.

Overall scorpio n is bangs for your bucks ! I have both the cars in family and driven both ! Ride quality of scorpio n is far superior to fortuner, Body roll is too much in Fortuner specially for people sitting in middle row , its sometimes feel like bullock cart for people sitting in middle whereas scorpio n doesnt have that much body roll! Driving position of scorpio n is better , Scorpio n is more wider and taller that makes it looks butch too, And as far as reliability is concerned , yes Toyota is more reliable but that RELIABILITY IS NOT FREE 😂 THEY ARE CHARGING 20 LACS MORE FOR THAT RELIABILITY! Would u buy a wagon r for 25 lacs if it will give exact same Toyota reliability? You will not! Here Fortuner is greedily overpriced ! U cant feel u are sitting in a 50- 60 lac car at all ! Yes , I wrote the same thing to many people , these fool phaaaarchuner lovers think that only Toyota pays taxes to the government , jeep meridian is available at the price point of phaaaarchuner but it's more comfortable , premium ,full of features and etc ,+ it's around 10 lacks cheap.. why jeep is providing better product even at lesser price . Jeep also pays tax to the government

Hi,I am really confused between Fortuner petrol and Gloster, is the Gloster reliable enough and worth taking over fortuner petrol?(I live in NCR and Gloster coming in diesel is my biggest concern).I really want the features and comfort,specially the third row,I will mostly sit in the 2nd row but the diesel report for 2027 and Question on reliability of Gloster is Stopping me.(mileage is not a big issue and daily running would be approximately-40km).If you could pls advise me on this?
got to spitti valley or ladakh and if something goes wrong in gloster than only god can save because its not as reliable as both mahindra and toyota and also its services are not available everywhere

Is it fair to compare Scorpio n with Fortuner? Scorpio N will be winner here and most VFM any day below INR 30 lakh...............But No SUV can replace or match Fortuner ride and reliably in segment of INR45-55 lakh
