With the Hilux restoration, brakes were next. A rear drum brake rebuild was not needed, but the front brakes were a mess. So after some issues I install new Toyota Hilux brake parts with a brake calliper rebuild kit as well as new Toyota brake rotors and Hilux brake pads. A brake calliper rebuild cost is not to bad if you do the hard work yourself. It is not complicated just messy.
