You are correct Tim the crossover steering conversion is ultimately the best option for a hilux. In this case trying to keep a low budget (kit + ifs steering box + other associated suspension changes) and there being some of the parts previously ordered before getting the chance to thoroughly checkover the lux, we decided that a simpler repair style approach would fo the job at this stage. As for the powersteer, the tired pump needs replacing for either steer setup style being utilized. Thanks for the comment Tim
