Toyota had 37kg onboard because their team had been driving better and showing better result than Ferrari and they still managed to have such a close race. Unfortunately they were just very unlucky. Try and check the result from the other races in the endurance series.
Not really Toyota had weight on board because they were too good. Also a Ferrari totaled the other Toyota. They finished only 1 minute and 40 seconds after 24 hours. But hats off to Ferrari for making such a great car. Maybe check the result from the other races in the endurance series.
