Honestly I froth every time I see a video come out of yours, you literally make the best content all the sickest cars that nobody else makes content on and you seem like a genuinely awesome good to be around bloke!! Please keep filming and I guarantee I’ll keep watching
Fark me dead. You didn't go too far you just didn't have the time before event. Amazing work as always. Proud to see another Aussie youtube channel kicking it and killing it.
@@lowstandards5269 not kind words bro, just spitting facts. Another fine representative of Australian car culture. I understand how hard navigating ADHD is and your controlled chaos is amazing. I'm in NSW but planning to hit big events next year in my Civic, hope to see you out thurrr 🤘
Loved this car way back when it was Scott’s and nearly finished on my own beams swap ke after driving 86’s for years. Currently dealing with the misery of removing sound deadening in mine, this is great motivation!
The sticker on the front window bottom corner is from @juiceboxforyou a RU-vid channel from an awesome shed in Waterford in Ireland. Just thought I'd let you know. We love corollas in Ireland. Keep up the good work lads
I Love that KE70 when Speedhunter Post it year 2009. Fascinated for an OldSkool Car, reliable and budget. Reasons why I bought my Car. Keep on posting your Build of that Car. Loving it more ❤️
Good to see the old "Shanty" Sticker on there! That was a bunch of mates and myself who used to run around in KE's and AE's back in the day! I actually designed that graphic lol Glad you didn't take it off! :)
Started life as an AE71 and was hitting the track since 2005. Welded the whole ke70 rad support in years ago to run the flat front. It had 4 different motor types in it over my time with it and the S1 S14 SR20 was in it when I let it go in 2019. Ran 14 pound off the kinu td05 18g and standard comp. Had a metric tonne of bog in it, the painter was a perfectionist. I think that was done around 2010-12, but it wasn't really appropriate for the amount of track use the car saw. Also the paint was inspired by Mazda 3 red but a complete custom colour I mixed using pink and orange pearl. The Diff is also (or was) a Tarago E series with a 4.11 crown wheel whacked in it.
Cool to see Grants old Corolla still going! This car was the reason I bought one. Btw the corner mirrors are just facelift spec, we got them in Europe as well.
Quick fix, not to low....nek minnit 😂. So glad you done a proper build on it as it is my favourite 4 door Corolla by far and you have got it sitting perfecto! Great content mate, keep up the good work
11:45 cams didn't used to want you to put 2 bends in the A pillar bars. They definitely don't like 2 bends in the bar between the A pillars. They'd rather have a specced cage that's 5" away from the pillars lol
Really depends who you talk to and so much cage specs are just a loose guideline I’ve always had 2 bends in A pillars and had over 10 approved I think it’s how they should be done.
Legendary bro! always entertained wether it’s a banged up old Cressida or mint whips like this, Always have to stop and sit down when you upload a video ! Keep ‘em coming
MINT!! looks fuckn sick Jay you did real well! mazda have some of the cleanest colours nopwadays that red is perfect . when i saw the thumbnail i thought fuck that looks like grants old car 😆 seeing this makes me miss my old AE71 so much more😪.
Thanks man. Yeah it’s crazy when you have a close look at there colours how good they are. I was the same had so many and sold them so I’m happy to have another and one I’ve always loved.
@@lowstandards5269 no worries bro 🤙im keen to see part 2, Absolutely love Ke`s Ive only had one it was my first car swapped in a 4age 16v nothing crazy super clean car no rust or bog on it. I was going to turbo it started making the manifold and that but got myself a holiday sponsored by Sapol and corrections 😂 for 6 years and the rolla was taking up space at the oldies so they sold it while I was in 😩I only found out when I was released and went home and saw it missing it was a great day but also really fkn shit day at the same time. Ill get another one day when i can
@@lowstandards5269 had one with a 4k and I blew it up pretty quickly too. Hard on the gear as a teenager haha As far as I'm aware the one I put the 4AGE in is still going with a Garrett hanging off the side 👍🏽
I had a piss yellow sr5 1983 4dr w/20r engine. crashed it then got a 💩 brown 1981 2dr 4 speed broke the rear end getting stuck in snow trying to reverse out never got fixed bought them back in the late 90's for $400 each.when i was 17 years old. Wish still had the yellow one. I have a soft spot for the 4drs
Such a good job, amazing how much work you get done. My ke70 wagon has been sitting for years cause I’m to much or a perfectionist. Hey were did you get your weld on flares? Im not a fan of bolt ons ether.
It really can’t The glass is cut to fit the triangle mirror and for this the glass guide the the glass sits in is different too. So if you were to sit the glass side by side totally different.
@@lowstandards5269 I’m a Mitsubishi boy , first car was a 77 lancer and second was a 71 galant rally / hill climb car. The galant looked like a heap but had a half cage , side draught webbers and near straight through exhaust lol was a beast !
