If your willing to travel. About the only thing that is nearly impossible to get for MSRP is the Ranger raptor. Mostly because Ford makes so few of them and dealers have very little allocation. The TNGA platform was designed to increase production and output capacities. Just give it some time and these will be plentiful just like the Tacos and Tundras already are. And the tacoma plants in mexico are just beginning to ramp up steam. So the lots will be overflowing. With a goal of 300K trucks/year its going to be a hard sell at the current price points. Expect big discounts on everything they make by years end.
That's some BS. Asking for an ADM on a sedan is pure insanity. They are not even popular anymore. Your not alone. Stupid CEO is driving away tons of legacy Toyota fans. Its bad business and will cost them market share in the end. This company has bad leadership.
This was probably a dealer demo or buyer unwind, so now its gotta be "used" so why not make it CPO and charge the market price...its way more than new indeed
Very nice vehicle but to mark it up cause its used and its first edition sounds like more of the old days of 2021 where they mark up new vehicles like crazy even here in arizona they mark up everything like for kia and chevy,honda and toyota most of the mark up between $2500 to 5500 the most one i seen is $8500 mark up wow crazy people these days.
Only $85K? A dealer near me is asking $94K for a 1958 edition lol. At that price I might as well just get a Ford Raptor and get way more of a car for the money.
I liked the classic GX door that swung out. The GX was 100X better then this overpriced 4 banger. The best thing they every made was the global Prado version with the D4D diesel. When I think of classic land cruisers Im thinking, model 90, 100, 200 LC etc... Not this.
Soon the 4 runner will also share the same underpinnings. The whole idea of their new global platform TGNA is to utilize the same parts across the board. And in the case of the tacoma use slave labor down south. On paper it really seems they are saving a ton of money going this way but the MSRP's tell a different story lol. Reminds me of the iPhone 6 which cost Apple 100 dollars to make. Then they turned around and sold it for 800. As you recall that was a POS phone. The one that bends, with the touch screen failures, weak batteries and so little ram that it was useless after two years. I get the same feeling with these new Toyota's. They are banking on past reputation here.
Definitely not too small unless the whole family is linebackers. I’m just not payin that much for a 2.5 ton SUV with a 4cyl. The only one currently worth getting is the 1958 edition. I’ve seen people get them for $60k out the door
@@littlekennytv5668 Probably bigger then it looks. The doors look tiny to me. Not sure why but this LC does nothing for me as far as design language. Current 4 runner is the best looking and is bigger then this. Also liked the outgoing GX 460 which was the LC prado overseas. The Prado was classic Toyota styling and offered globs of room. It had a good run from around 97 until last year. All good things generally end at some point.
