I found a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado on the stockyard of a Toyota Dealership and I requested to have a video of the new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2022.
There are two version of Land Cruiser Prado here in the Philippines.
2.8L Diesel A/T PHP4,265,000.00 and
4.0L Gas A/T PHP3,469,000.00
You might wonder why the diesel cost a lot more. That is because of Tax. To support the local car industry, all import from Japan with engine lower that 3.0L have a higher tax bracket.

We have two version here in the Philippines 2.8L Diesel A/T ₱4,250,000.00 (USD$75,900) 4.0L Gas A/T ₱3,454,000.00 (USD$61,680) USD$=₱56.00 The reason for higher cost of diesel car is because of government agreement that all car/suv imported from Japan lower than 3L engine are tax higher to protect local car assemblers 2.8L is 4 cylinder 4.0L is 6 cylinder

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Gasoline Engine is available in limited supply, so the dealer need to order it from Toyota Motor Philippines. as for the Diesel Engine, it is available by indent only, so dealer have to order it and it will take at least 3 months for the stock to arrived. I saw the Land Cruiser Prado at Toyota La Union, so I requested to have a video from the dealership.

This unit is now not available in the Philippines. We learned A new model is coming out soon. But still no additional information yet

The gasoline is still more popular because of the price. But I think there are only very few units available since the 2024 Land Cruiser Prado is soon available
