I'm not shure your intended use, so it may not be relevant. But multiple layers of metal will cause moisture in between, which will cause rust, which will force them apart over time. Also being much thicker by additional layering in some parts, will cause excessive stress on other original spec chassis areas, this could lead to stress fractures and failure of your frame, since they all flex a bit in use, and your double thickness parts will not flex as much, putting an additional load elsewhere. I always cut out bad bits and refabricate them to end with equal to the original, so that restored parts play and move in tune, as it were, to the whole of the chassis. Nothing added and nothing taken away. Thank you for a well made entertaining video sir, a good watch it is.
