I literally installed the same GME unit in my 2021 GX Prado this afternoon. I looked in that very position but found the space was almost completely occupied with the aircon ducting to the rear of the consul for the middle row passengers. So, if you have the same model and year as mine I think this mount will be a no go I’m afraid. 😞
G'day legend - we have the VX 2023, we did see that there was some room for aircon ducting, assumed it was on the kakudu only? We had a look at the GXL and it was the same as ours.
@@ex.perdition The ducting runs down from the dashboard and along the passenger side of the consul, covering up one of the bolt holes. On reflection it may have more to do with the cooling of the storage bin rather than the air conditioning vents for the passenger middle seating
