I have 2017 proace working car., only appreciate the comfort in summer time and gives headache in winter. Specially here in North, Only -10° and dash lights are going crazy, wiper blade is very low, heat can't reach and only getting freez.

Just looking at this because this is our new work van we had a Transit custom previously and they were a nightmare it had software problems and not as powerful as the Southampton built ones .
Hello Edd would you comment on Toyota proace verso 7 seater with 1.2L 3 cilinder petrol engine, is that reliable like other Toyota models,? It looks like funny for car at that size and that weight ?
Proace is a well rounded disaster. Cockpit is so “well” sealed that the rear sliding doors do not shut properly unless you open a front door/window. 2.0d Engines start having major problems after 100 000 km. Rear sliding doors fall off the rails constantly. Car might randomly lose all electricity and totally shut down for no reason. Front door window frames bend over time which introduces a gap between the door and the seal, which in turn allows rain water to come in while driving. These are only a few of the problems after using this car for 2 years. Don’t buy it, get a transporter or transit.
It's all PSA group, the only thing the other two brands offered (Toyota, Vauxhall/Opel) was cash to cover the development . Same with the smaller vans based on the Berlingo/Partner.
Well, we all love Toyota, but sadly Toyota is not Toyota anymore...Supra is BMW, Proace is PSA, Yaris is Mazda 2, Aygo is PSA etc. On the other hand, yotas that are yotas ( Corolla, Camry and RAV4 ) don`t have diesel engines anymore... pure sadness
Shame on you Toyota. Getting into bed with the French. Toyota vans used to be legendary for reliability. Not anymore. Also did anyone else notice the van in the static shots had UK plates but Edd was driving a left hand drive version.
don21 late reply but Toyota couldn't sell their actual Hiace models like they do in Asia, Africa, Middle East and AU/NZ markets. It wouldn't comply with the stupid European regulations we have so Toyota had no choice to partner with a European brand whose already met those regulations in order to sell
Despite it being 'pipped' by the Transporter and Transit in various areas, it having issues with visibility and questionable ergonomics, it still gets five stars? How? Especially when the Vivaro, which is effectively the same van, only gets a four star rating.
You might want to improve on your filming or video editing and directing. 1. Too dark [both the scene and inside the van] 2. Your cutaways do not relate to what Edd is talking about [showing the dashboard at the time when he is talking about the gear or how spacious the van is.] 3. voice needs to be increased 4. Try driving it while talking about it [like in top gear] 5. Show us a few photos parts of the van that we can't see e.g its engine, gearbox etc...
If you're going to reverse the video, at least get the tee shirt wording printed backwards. How many people didn't listen to what Ed was saying because their brains were trying to think why he was suddenly driving a left hand drive while the B Roll was showing a British road?
@@sgs89H i get around 35-38 on the motorway and the same around town i think realy because i have the 5 speed and at 70 the revs are quite high i still love it
To me that's a bit disappointing considering they advertise it at 54? Mpg! I have a 2.5L Hiace which gives me no trouble at all and around 35mpg but I'd like something more economical as I'm doing 400miles a week

The gear stick location is poor design. Middle passenger does not sit properly and risks injury to the back due to the twisted way they have to sit. Such basics yet they still do it wrong.
Forget it, Hiace can't be brought into Europe, does not meet emissions criteria, Hiace can only be sold in Asian countries and Australia, but in Europe Toyota has to substitute a French van from Citroen/Peugeot and rebadge it as a Toyota Proace.
At least they adopt the ev model from PSA too, sou the don't get lost. Toyota, time is ticking. Wake up and offer ev models, otherwise you loose half of buyers.
