True and if the captain chairs could turn as well, it would open up more. The sunroof's light really makes a difference in these buses. See it works well in the V-Class and the Staria
The last row is a little too cramped for my liking, also you can't put anything at the back when occupied, this should come with a small caravan as an extra
Thanks you really did take us through! Need this for my travel company Ukuthula Tours. Can a tow bar be added to this for trailer? Thinking of luggage for long distance travel. Thanks
Hi, yes you can add a tow bar. It has towing capacity of 1,5tons with a trailer that has it's own brakes, with a trailer that has no brakes it's limited to 400kg. It also has Trailer Sway Control to assist with trailer control.
True Sipho, I noticed the same in the Hyundai Staria. If you want to carry full house and bags, it won't work unless you start pilling up bags inside the cabin which is not ideal for relaxed "lux" travel
No need for a zulu name since no one (even passengers who use taxis) calls them by their zulu name. Even the sesfikile is just called a quantum. and this new one is called a Quantum bus. Mercedes also has a zulu name for the sprinter, but everyone just calls it a sprinter. Its only Nissan where people use the local name (impendulo) because the English name is just a numerical value that is too difficult to pronounce and remember.
Yep. I was aware, I apologise for that. Had to choose between uploading and not. Chose to upload and take the beating rather. I think videos got better🥲
Where is the Toyota Quantum 2.8 commuter bus 17 seater for the private and for taxi ranks bus use? Charging ports allround? 17 alloys? Rear heater and cooler? Rear disc brakes? Reverse camera? Diff lock? Barn doors? Electric windows/mirrors? 3 point seatbelts all passengers? roof escape hatch? and atleast remote key? please? Not all of the "GL" features but atleast those? Imagine 3 people seating in front including the driver but one 12 volts socket charger and the dash not so practical cause where we gonna place our mobile phones while changing them... either than cupholders and if they're occupied with drinks, what then??? Toyota need to revise the entire dashboard of the quantum to make it much easier and more practical.. modernising taxis to make them more safer and moving with times
I hear your point, where I differ a little is the target, as they are not planning to always be on the move the same way as the bigger buses will, this is a premium travel segment car, only 2 people will be seating in front, 12v can have a charger with 2 ports and you still have a USB port. The wood tray in front will be used to place phones, the second row captain seats also have their own. There are rear controls for the aircon and necessary practical spaces. The boot will not be enough when the car is full but mostly in this segment you have to sacrifice the last row seat to get some space for bags and so on.
@@sebuwam Taxis are always on the move 24/7..moving people either locally or long distances all around the country! The newer vehicle is just much..if not better safer than the previous model, and the vehicle is just more stabler on the road! The ses'fikiles great but very very cold when not seating on front area more especially on winter months..wow and very poorly turning circle ⭕. That big and horrible "Coaster" bus just won't cut it yona...it's just bad 👎 in many ways, that's like travelling back in time where we were yesterday..I am a 32yr old guy i'd appreciate driving people around inside something modern with a few nice 👍 gadgets inside to play with, lol 🤣🤣 I say "booowoooo" to toyota south africa about that move...
