In this video, we will show how to replace the OEM bulb with a more bright LED bulb in the trunk of the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Toyota RAV4.

Yes I agree. Upgrading the bulb in the cargo area is a must. Thank you for this video. Most likely in the future the aftermarket world will have a more clear lense. Until then, the trick with the tin foil is very clever.

Good job, although the 2019 models should have led bright white bulbs from the factory, it's ridiculous that we still have to upgrade ourselves while spending $30,000.00 plus.

Damn this interior light swap is more of a hassle than I thought. Bought the whole set but now I can’t even get them off and scared I’m gonna break them

Do not worry Alex. Start with headliner. Remove 3 plastic clips on the top of headliner like we did in video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e9wbMuUrOWU.html. About 13 min of the episode. You will get enough room for fishing wire access between headliner and original cargo light LED opening. Just find the proper fishing wire for that.After it problem is solved. That was a hardest part. Use hand sanitizer as a lubricant in order to facilitate pulling of the fishing wire through rubber sleeve between roof of the car and hatch door. Rest of installation is in the original video for cargo light.

Nice video. Curious, what is the part number of the cargo light used in your Rav4 with the switch? I have a 2023 Rav4 and the cargo light does not have a switch. I'd like to install a cargo light with the switch.

This does NOT FIT 2023 MODELS. the connector pins are not the same size

What tool are you using to unscrew the small bolt?

It is not a bolt but a plastic pin that prevents the cover from being removed. We used the precision screwdriver to scrape it off. Wera - Kraftform Micro Set/12 Pc Sb 1 with Pouch - amzn.to/3KM0ojQ.

manual turn on light?? should turn on when open trunk

There is a switch on the light. If it is in off position the light won't turn on. If the switch is in on position, the light will turn on and off automatically when you open the rear hatch door.
