Rally can be a violent and harsh world, it is the testing ground for both a car and its team. Here we take a look at what Rally racing is and get a general overview of what goes into each weekend of Ryan, Christina and the Toyota RAV4 chasing down the championship in Rally America.
In an environment where the accuracy and precision of car, driver, and co-driver all have to work as one it can be a challenge with any vehicle, especially the stock RAV4.

Our rav4 probably have a higher centre point, different weight distribution and angle kits, so it would be real different if you do the same thing. But it’s not that expensive to modify a rav4 into a decent drift car!

Not going to lie, I saw this video in my recommended and was very skeptical. Then as I watched it I said "no way it's stock". But stock engine/transmission, and it moves that quick through a stage? Legitimately surprised.

The engine sound different, unless they use a sound from another engine to mimic it.

@@dheylinantigua stock engine and transmission, so that means everything around it including exhaust can be modified. I won't be surprised if this had some sort of fueling, intake and exhaust system that was modified by them. So it will sound different.

@@masterkdrifter more important than a fast engine is front and rear lsd and a locked or viscous/lsd center diff. Those aspects can make almost anything a complete game changer for rally

I've been watching these videos on a loop for days and I still genuinely can't believe it's real. I drive a 2010 RAV, and as a rally fan, seeing this makes me so happy - I had no idea the little ute in my driveway had so much potential! Seriously unreal that you guys are running basically a stock vehicle.

I have a hard time believing that the engine and transmission is stock without any pictures of the engine or transmission in the video. So you're telling me they went the whole 9 yards and an extra mile on the body, chassis and frame but didn't touch the engine or transmission? LOL

2017 rav4 is not a true awd if you lift the vehicle and spin the front tires one will spin the direction you are turning it and the opposite tire rotates the opposite direction just like an open diff! Toyota has mislabled this vehicle!
