Thank you for the very helpful video. At 6:20 it is recommended that you remove the white protective shipping cover from the cable spool. This came from the Toyota Technical Service Bulletin I got from the dealer.

Thanks for the help. Just fixed my door for the $40 part instead of a few hundred to have someone else do it

So mine is not functioning and still opens/closes manually. If this is something that does not open close then it is worth fixing .

I got stupid , the hinge from dealer was 155$ , on the right , the left hinge 160 $ but it was back order , I got it from amozon 52 $ ,too late .but learned . the whole cable was # $ 55 . I have 1 question . do those cables go inside the hinge . I could not see your last part instalation 😭😊 namaste ❤ The reason I ask that first I tried to replace the hinge . I could not take the hinge out unless I took the close cable loose , then i saw the plastic cover on cable was gone . please let me know . thank you . namaste 😇❤🙏👍👏
