In this video I give my opinion of the Journey's 3.5" lift after having used it for a couple of camping trips. I also discuss rear air-bag effectiveness and what it's like to use a hitch carrier while camping.
I had journey 2 inch lift kit added to 2010 town and country and all i can say is love it. Added truck tires with wheel wells so all together was 3 inch lift. Again love it. Drives like a truck and van
I have a second channel which I started earlier this summer. It kind of tracks my thoughts on my upcoming retirement plans. The following video has a bit of tour of my property and how I came to live here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mpr1nOjTf4Y.htmlsi=Pk9Bsa9VnaB1G9cu
What type of shop would do this kind of lift on the van? I have a 2014, looks exactly like yours, awning and all.. but people think i'm nuts to look into a lift. I take it on a lot of dirt roads to get to my campsites
In my area (southern Ohio) there are several 4wd / performance shops that can and would install a lift like this. My guess, and this is just a guess, is that the typical cost of the install would be $1,000 to $1,500 dollars, not including the price of the lift kit. I am basing that number on the amount of time required to do the work which is approx. 8-12 hrs.
