Jason, I followed your steps and I ended up with code 14 . My horn works fine but my airbag light is on. Did you fix your truck? If so, what was the problem ? Btw, i have 2001 tundra . Thanks
It's been a long time, but I believe the ports are TC and CG on the OBDII. Either way, why wouldn't you just tell people in the video to give them not only another means of accomplishing the task, but to also provide a far more exact set of instructions. Kinda important for things of this nature.
Gee, I dunno, did you listen to THE FIRST EIGHT SECONDS of the video!? "I'm not a mechanic, I'm just a layperson who likes to try and do things on his own..." Listening comprehension: kinda important for things of this nature.
Gee, I dunno, did you read my comment as trying to be helpful instead of you getting all defensive? As a "layperson" who strives to do their own work, I would hope to increase my mechanical knowledge and would welcome any helpful advice and/or info. But perhaps that's just me...
Illegal as hell especially if it can be proven you were the original owner and it was documented at a dealer or repair shop. A lot of faults are uploaded to carfax by repair shops if you take it in for repair, oil change, etc. IF they found the air bag light on it would be documented
