Toyota Supra Sound Comparison - Forza Horizon 2 vs Forza Horizon 4 

FH2 gave us the most enjoyable sounds in terms of what we're used to due to aftermarket turbos and exhaust setups - this definitely applies for the Supra and R34 GT-R! But FH4 sounds more pure and less "arcade-y". I wish more cars still sounded the way they did in FH2 ♥️

Is this just me or the 2jz in fh4 sounds like a turbodiesel engine?

I feel like it might sound more realistic but I still prefer the fh2 one

For a stock supra it sounds excellent. FH2 had the modified supra sound so I get why ppl are bitching, but this FH4 version is really accurate for a stock exhaust supra. The engineering is excellent. Cockpit view is SUPER immersive. I ain't mad at it tbh.

The only thing it’s missing is the ak47 coming out the back honestly 🤷🏽‍♂️ but if it hits nfs heat I’m sure it’ll have the turbo flutter and exhaust note will sound better

Well my 6 year old prefers the Forza Horizon 4 sound over FH3. Personally it’s like they recorded the audio from inside the vehicle this time and the base audio was of a stock Supra instead of a highly modified one like FH3 sounds like.

What is that ticking sound when it reaches high rpm in FH4? Jut before redline the engine ticks almost sounds like a glitch

i prefer a little bit more the sound of fh4 i have fh2 on the xb360 and the sounds of all cars are impressive, but the 2jz sound was not added to fh2

Why are all these people booing the sound of the supra in FH4 i think it sounds amazing, especially the turbo flutter of the tuned version.

The one thing that pisses me off which has nothing to do with the sound is. Why in the HELL!!! did Playground decide to use the USDM exterior Supra and have the interior a RHD JDM version. You can clearly see it doesn't have the side blinkers but it has the USDM front and rear fender lights. If they where gonna make the Supra look like the US spec then at least have the steering wheel on the left side....

Forza horizon 2 had the sound of a straight piped modified supra. Forza horizon 4 has the sound of a stock supra. Both sound good.

The Supra has an Inline 6 Engine 320HP In Stock In FH4 The Supra Goes up to 1600HP In Max Upgrade In FH2 It only maxed out at 850HP.

I think the engine sound on fh4 is more mature, the turbo and bov noises are a lot better, but the exaust tone sounds kinda wronk

The cars sound effects are better in FH2 than 3 or 4 and Forza 7 is ok too. FH3 and 4 had too much background noise and drowns out car sound. Also, when cars are modified the they all sound the same. This makes me not wavy to play the game. Cars games need to loom good, handle good, and sound ultra realistic. Pull out a 1970 Pontiac vs a 1970 charger. They sound identical so does the mustang. When you modified them add some headers snd exhaust the cars sound the same and not even louder on deeper tone.

Its amazing how accurate the Audi R8 sound is in this game, yet they butcher every other sound.

After listening to FH2, FH4, and IRL FH2 has the right atmosphere/tone but lacks depth/aggression and is incredibly quiet FH4 has the right depth/aggression but lacks the atmosphere and has too much going on. Oh and its too loud. It sounds like it was recorded with the highest sensitivity audio equipment and nothing was adjusted for human perception of the sound, just plugged in and sent through a loudness equalizer or something. You hear _every_ aspect of the engine in FH4 and it makes everything drowned out. If you listen to the car in person, or have a good ear listening to real clips, you'll see what I mean. The FH2 2jz is closest overall in terms of technical accuracy, whereas FH4 is 'if they don't know, they can't tell its bad'

I absolutely HATE the sounds in FH4 after hearing the car sounds in FH2... the Toyota Supra sounds a billion times better in FH2, the sound difference between different RPM's is waaaaaay more richer and noticable in FH2. I never heard a Toyota Supra in real life, but the way it sounds in FH2 made the hair stand up on my arms.

So no one is gonna complain how the car doesnt even come close to sounding realistic if the 2jz has mods on it.

FH4 cars all are quiet at idle, theres no sound at all, least FH2 had bass to their exhaust, might not of been perfect but certainly had sound. Nothing worse than upgrading a car only for it to not have a rumble, all you hear is birds and AI flying by.

FH2 sounds a lot more like an actual 2JZ, so I prefer it. FH4 the engine sounds like a 4.0L V6 truck engine or something. But in FH4 the rev limiter and blow off sounds are nice.

This sounds almost nothing like a supra. The idle is alright but going through the gears sounds nothing at all like a supra. Especially a modified one.
