Thank you for all of the great info! Now I know how to open and take the cover off! Wasn’t sure on the next level opening, same as the first fold over.
I have this cover on my '21 TRD Sport, why I am here is I have trouble with snow getting into the inlet holes you clip the cover into/ice accumulation in those holes. I was hoping to find a part number or something for the actual clips so I could get a second set to leave in there or a cover to prevent stuff from getting in there while the cover is down.
@@stevenwelchtoyota none with similar clips, thank you for response, my wifes brother 3D printed some rubber type plugs I can now just put in like a cork
Thanks for the video. Do you happen to know if this 3rd gen cover would fit and mount the same way on a 2nd gen Tacoma? I can't find any info about anyone trying this and found a nice one for sale locally.
@@stevenwelchtoyota is there a part number for these? I called my dealership after buying a 2017 Tacoma LIMITED and they told me they just sell the backflip brand and there is not a Toyota brand which does not seem to be true based on your video and others. Thanks for your help and video
@stevenwelchtoyota thanks I appreciate you taking the time to respond I meant the holes where the belts lock in find some kind of cover or put tape on so nothing gets in there Thank you
Does anyone know if this tonneau cover is still available from Toyota? Also, could someone please post a part number for this cover featured in this video?
It depends. If it is a factory cover you will notice that there are differences to the bed rails. Chances are the person would not give you those so you would need them. If it is after market then I have no way to answer that other than the size should fit as long as the bed length is the same.
