I agree stock is the best sound in my opinion But adding a dual system with stock muffler would just look better and sound a little better, and hell even look better when adding 2 oem black exhaust tips
The 3.5 sounds horrible compared to the 4.0. I run a Flowmaster 40 series with single outlet no duels and it sounds just about perfect! It idles good and deep and has zero raspiness. Very deep sound and about as close to a V8 I've heard. Sounds even better with my 6spd manual too 😏
MBRP dual black exhaust for sale, only a few months old, reason for selling is I’m going back to stock on whole truck, exhaust is great, the sound and feel and also the HP torque gains combined with my K&N model 77 air intake. Love it, but yes everything is for sale and great condition
OKAY SUBSCRIBED. The stromung exhaust gets my vote for the best. I have the flowmaster amnerican thunder, not impressed with it. I put it on the same time I installed a afe momentum cold air intake with scoop and a throttle body extender and it really added a good amount of pick up. I don’t the dual exhaust it gets in the way of everything. I had to cut one of the mufflers short so i could install a hellwig back sway bar. So i am in the market for a single. I need go back to the stock cold air intake so i can install a snorkel which is more important.
Mbrp single exit is what i have. Chopped off about 5” and put on a 3” into 4” - 12” long rolled tip. Sounds amazingly lound. Fricken annoying on long highway rides.
That’s a bit of a silly thing to say on a video like this. It’s important to have realistic expectations with aftermarket exhaust setups, but nobody is expecting a V6/V4 platform to rumble and scream like a V8. Some of these exhausts sound better than others and they’re generally good improvements over stock in terms of looks and enjoyment.
Agreed, this video confirms there's no way to make a 3.5 sound good. I'll leave the factory exhaust on the truck and the fast and furious vibes on the shelf.
