I took a longbed crew cab 3/4 to up to the gate and back in both directions couple years ago and made it in the wintertime when everything was soft and wet.
yes it is What is this gate he is talking about? I discovered the trail back in the late 80s/early 90s and wrote an article in Four Wheeler magazine that put the trail on the map so to speak but there were no gates there when we used to run it. Id like to go back this fall and run it again but would like a trail report from someone whos been recently.
@@davidkey981 Some years ago, one of the property owners put up a gate across the trail in response to property damage and vandalism that was occurring on the trail. You can no longer run the full trail, only access it from either end.
@@SuperSnallygaster once again, the beer can leaving, shotgun shooting, mud hole digging idiots ruin something good for everyone else. The more of these I run into the more I think we need to keep good trails quiet. I have my own ways of finding the good stuff without needing an explanation or explicit directions. Hell as little as we have in the southeast even just regular trail riding, if it becomes excessive, can quickly wear out a trail. What trails we do have left please pack in, pack out, pick up after others and leave it better than you found it!
