Nice drive through the mountains on the Enchanted Creek trial. This trial is only open Oct 1st through Jan 1st so good chance you will see some hunting camps. We saw two towards the end right before getting on the Blueridge Parkway. Trial is stock 4WD friendly.

A couple Jeeps and I are running this trail Sunday but we were planning to bring my daughter’s stock envoy along. It’s hard to tell just how bad the rutted areas in the video. I had always been told this was a stock friendly trail. In your opinion would a normal stock 4WD suv (gmc envoy) do okay here?

I don’t recall any bad areas on this trail and figure a stock 4WD could do it. Might be a couple spots where you’ll need to pay attention if it doesn’t have much ground clearance.
