No it doesn't, but it has gadgets to help you fix your tyre by yourself besides this car comes along with standard tyres so incase you have a puncture it doesn't go flat completely
@@charleswanga9680 it is not a reliable car, it doesn't have spare tyre, there is no any tyre in the world that doesn't go flat completely, even those gadgets you are saying can't endure 50 km running the vehicle which is flat, the car has very low ground clearance, which is difficult to endure the offroad challenges, this car has only one differential at the front which runs the tyres at the front, the tyres at the back are just being pulled into motion freely by front tyres, because it doesn't have the propellor shaft running under the bottom connecting the tyres at the front and at the back to enable the four tyres running at the same time when driving. There is alot of things to consider when buying a car otherwise you may find yourself getting trapped into buying a rubbish car by Mere advertisment. Somemore Toyota has discontinued production of Vanguard in November 2013 in favor of harrier XU 60.
Vanguard is just the extension of the body of Rav 4, and the toyota company just changed some little things like dashboard, putting more chairs, while squeezing the boot, and no spare tyre which is very important to any car, even Corola has spare tyres. That is the only mistake they did, very low ground clarance, not enduring offroards for my side it is not a reliable car, but if you want this car for city only its OK. Think of driving Van Guard going to Musoma from.Arusha via serengeti natioanal park,or from Dar to Mwanza, and you don't have spare tyre. What a risk with this vehicle.
@@edwinalexander1170 Well said, These Spare Tyreless cars they have been basically made for Developed countries uses, they assumed you cant driver for more than 100 kms without finding a service station where you can get to service your flat tyre. We basically force using them in Africa
First of all. The reliability of a car has nothing to do with the spare tyre. You can get a car with even two spare tyres and horrible reliability problems which will make punctures the least of your troubles. Let us not mix the two. Second, I don’t understand how 7.5 inches ground clearance (that’s what the Vanguard has) is low. This is more than enough for most road conditions. Of course kuna wale barabara zao require much more capable off-roading cars, but that is a different conversation. Third, if I’m not mistaken you can get a 4WD Vanguard. Not that you really need 4WD for long journeys. Most cars you get these days are front wheel drive and they do long journeys just fine. I’ve done it in a Vitz with my family and had zero regrets - I would do it again. And again. Fourth, yes it’s now common for a car to come with its spare tyre when you buy it, but lacking one should not be a deal breaker. I don’t think it should be your only reason not to buy the car. But to each their own 🤷🏾♂️ 😌
