Toyota Yaris Cross HEV First Drive Impressions! [Car Feature]
The 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross HEV is a full hybrid crossover. In this Filipino car review, we take the 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross hybrid out for a quick drive to see how well it performs on the road. As expected, the 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross HEV performs like a regular hybrid, with quiet drives in full EV mode. When the gasoline engine of the 2023 Yaris Cross HEV comes alive, we can feel the rumble of the engine. The 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross HEV has a decent amount of torque down low, able to accelerate well enough for overtake maneuvers. The 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid does not pull as much as the Nissan Kicks though, so it is a bit behind in this area. The 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross also has good fuel economy, averaging 21km/l during a light city drive. The 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross also offers a well sorted drive, and despite its small size, the 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross delivers a comfortable ride inside.

Great initial review..👌🏻 Toyota made it right this time commencing on Yaris Cross tech amenities.😊 But wait…🧐 I think Toyota is preparing for its competitor name XForce by Mitsubishi, launched last August 10 @ Indonesia. You will like it when it arrives on our shore. It looks sporty, futuristic, elegant and might be the future design of new Mitsubishi SUV cars..😮

The 4th generation Toyota Alphard is already here as a hybrid-only minivan, while the new entry-level Veloz E CVT is also coming soon. You can now feature the 4th generation 2024 Alphard 2.5 HEV CVT very soon.

Can you do a comparo on fuel economy with the Philippines' favorite daily drivers: fortuner, montero, mux? Maybe by stressing the benefits of fuel consumption most Flipinos will switch to Evs thereby loosening the grip of opec countries on our riding community.

I owned toyota prius after 9yrs 1x lng ako ng palit.. usually city drive with every 3 months 350km provincial route. I believe mas durable ang current gen ng battery ngyon ng toyota

Haven't really tested it yet, but it seems the same as the other Toyotas, so it may have a minimum speed of 30kph to activate.

Good topline despite the short drive. Looking forward to your full review. Your fuel consumption 21.5km/L was based on the meter reading/computation. I believe it'll be much lower if you fill it up the traditional method, full tank to full tank?

If it follows the same consumption as the other hybrid toyotas, it shouldn't be far off. Maybe around 19-20km/l in the city.
