I fanboyed over the Yaris Cross so much, I visited a dealership just to see one! 🤣 This baby is fantastic, got an ok exterior look (not too gaudy), driver techs to match the Chinese, Toyota safety sense, actually great space & accommodation for the rear passengers, and relatively affordable! What more is there to ask! 😄
Sitting in the USA, I'd love to be able to get the Yaris Cross HEV. The Corolla Cross Hybrid just doesn't do it for me, especially the front end. This looks more like a small RAV4 Hybrid.
What more can we ask for? Complete in terms of Features. Engine is fair and Design is really new unlike previous Sub-compact SUV Cars of Daihatsu-Toyota❤ Overall, a great value for money
What do you think of the Yaris Cross V and HR-V S variants? This year, I intend to purchase my first car. Your response is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
2nd watch, ramdam ko yung wow factor from sir reygan, given this is toyota/daihatsu. Hopefully, Japanese manufacturers will keep stepping up to compete w/ the chinese car makers
EV mode on this is useless, as soon as you go below 50% battery level, EV mode shuts off. The computer holds the batteries below 80%. So it last 2 minutes at most.
Hi @Reygan's Rides. A unit was available for me, and I need to purchase it this week due to demands. I would like to know your opinion. I will be purchasing the Yaris Cross V variant. I like this better than the HEV due to its power (I plan to take this to provinces occasionally). Have I made the right choice?
@ReygansRides Thank you for the reply. I have seen the specs of V and HeV variant. They have 138/4200 and 121/4800 respectively. Does this mean that 121/4800 is better ?
@ReygansRides I see. I don't see in the Online Toyota specs the electric motor torque. But if they will give the figure; will the computation be just plain addition ?
True. Ive watched some reviews that the Kicks runs smoother. But one can opt for this hybrid and disregard the powet of kicks because of the loaded tech features and almost lexus like interior which the Kicks is lacking.
@@Litt02 It's gonna depend on the buyer kung anong features ang important. For me, I value power and safety features and the Kicks has what I need on both fronts. The extra Yaris Cross features are nice to have but not essential for me. Also until you drive one, you won't appreciate how big of a game changer e-Power is compared to regular ICE and parallel hybrids. 280 Nm instant torque and the e-Pedal step makes daily driving easier.and more enjoyable.
Yaris Cross is so un-Toyota esp to this entry class- 10 .1 inch infotainment, kick tailgate, full LED lighting, 18-inch alloy, 4 wheel disc brake, soft-touch plastic, power seats, telescopic steering, panoramic monitor, moonroof, wireless charging, branded speakers, This is saying goodbye to the 90's era specs we are familiar with Japanese cars in Ph. We are so much surprised!
@@ReygansRides. Yes, sure u get much more Nm with the Petrol(121Nm) and Electric motor(141Nm) together, but never can u count them 100% and get 262Nm. If that would be the case, Toyota would say that but they don't because ist a lot less together. Nobody knows or Toyota just don't want to say it. Anyway , i love your Videos and i like the Yaris Cross Hybrid and i think i will buy one next year. But first i wait for the NEW Mitsubishi Xforce Hybrid next year and then i decide. Thank and take care from Thailand .
if hybrid, depends if you prefer toys or power i guess? yaris cross is DNGA platform with much more tech, CC is true toyota (doesnt matter for some), but more power, basic af with tech
even if you add both torque figures and get around 280 ish? you wont really feel it at all. if were talking about how it feels, its very sloppy just like the corolla cross
that happens every car release its just a matter of kelangan mo na ba ngaun kaya ka bibili or gusto mo un model kasi mang hihinayang ka ng manghihinayang kada may bagong labas
