I remember in my grade 1 and 2 class (same teacher) we had this large bin full of recyclables, like toilet paper and paper towel rolls, as well as cereal boxes, clean plastic peanut butter jars, and coffee tins. Parents would bring it in to fill up, and the kids would use those things to make whatever craft they wanted during our free time. Sometimes the teacher would show us specific crafts, but mainly she just let us do whatever we wanted and figure out what we can make on our own. I remember even after I moved to a higher grade (but still in the same school), my mom would continue to bring in recyclables to that classroom.
I disagree about guinea pigs only being able to jump one inch high, one of my guinea pigs somehow jumped on top of his nine inch tall hide to get away from his brother 😂 Awesome video by the way!❤️
Guinea pigs have long been my spirit animal, and I love that in the episodes that take place in the romping room, even if the guinea pigs aren't the focus, they absolutely always insinuate themselves into the story and try to steal the show! Go Guinea Pigs and Animal Wonders!!!
This is good timing - I've started saving up toilet paper rolls, but I'm not sure what else to send with them when I've got some more of them accumulated. Would the thick paper used as a packing material be good? My cats liked playing with it, but I'm currently cat-less so wondering if it would be suitable. Also cardboard boxes - my concern there is labels and glue and other stuff that might be stuck on them, the painted/shiny treated ones I suspect are a nope. Basically, what repurposed materials (most of which I'd normally give to a cat) would be safe to send your way? I figure these might be questions other folks have, too.
Hi AnimalWonders, I love your videos! Can you make another video for rabbit stimulation or even rabbits in general? I have a pet rabbit called Biscuit. And we love watching your videos together. Thank you for your kindness!🐰❤️😘
I'd love that too! One of my two bunnies had to be euthanized recently so I'm trying to be conscious and diligent with even more enrichement for my remaining bunny. He's happy and healthy but new ideas are always welcome 🤗
Jessi i agree, Patagonian Cavy's do not make great pets, i know what "next" pet i want namely Gambian pouched rats but sadly they are illegal to import in to Canada but, the law may ban African rodents but a honey badger is NOT a rodent, think they will make good pets ? and a honey badger can defend itself so the local stray cats should not be an issue, even if the Honey badger may eat the Cats, but there are lots of stray cats and only a few Honey badgers. thanks for the show, always fun... now did you train Jacob to cook dinner as well ? :-)
Letting a honey badger loose in a canadian neighborhood probably wouldn't be a very good idea! Overall, exotic animals should probably only be taken care of my professionals, but I'm sure there are plenty of other animals that would make great pets :)
@@mercyhallman3378 ooh i agree, i currently have 8 rats, a bunch of fish and used to have dogs, mice, dagoes, cavy's, birds, and other animals, but i like the intelligence of the GPR, and Canada then bans it, so i switch to a back-up.. a sweet little cat snacking, poodle munching, Beaver beating Honey badger :P
I have many things to give away from my 6 guinea pigs! Do you take things that are either new, but opened, and gently used items? I can send them. Thank you, great video!
Ok so with your chinchillas you use a water bowl? do your chinchillas ever get them self's wet or spill the bowl bc I know that mine would in a heart beat😂
i thought of one way for somebody to own a cavie as long as they own a greenhouse this might work set up the greenhouse to be like their habitat in the wild that way they live in a huge cage with nothing bad to chew on but get lots of toys and love and their very own house so that way a lot of play room and the high jumping wont matter as much taking them for walks on their leash and making sure they get lots of love it might work but very hard for the common person to own a cavie
"Jacob, you got something on your face there." 0:04. Whose idea was it to keep that in the final edit? That is just the historical evidence that someone can use to embarrass Jacob how many years later when he's in high school.
jessi do you by any chance subscribe to stitch fix? that shirt your wearing, the chambray button down, i got that exact same shirt in my last fix. it looks great on you! mine sadly doesn't quite fit because the fabric isn't stretchy and i'm on the bigger side. but it's such a nice shirt i had to keep it anyway lol
ya these things will need a complete glass house of their own so it seems like getting one as a pet completely impossible i prefer chinchillas over guinea pigs after owning a guinea pig and learning about chinchillas chinchillas much better for my schedule and i know since they like to be up at night a 2am bath = a 2pm bath for a normal person i heard even though they are nocturnal they like TV to me that seems a bit weird it makes me think that playing nintendo around it completely fine and i am a gamer so i love my video games
Thank you give a parrot a way I really want to parrot I have a pet right now is a lovebird Chakor bird I have had in my life I am 10 years old already had one went I think others died
I have sent a package a while ago and texted you on Facebook and you said you will open it on camera and u haven’t yet:( I’m starting to think I won’t:( I sent it March 23
Hi Abbi! Thank you so much for sending the animals a package! We have a bunch we haven't opened yet because we were saving them to open on camera. It turns out, we received so many packages that if we saved them all to opening camera it would take us a couple hours!! So we've started opening some of them off camera just so the animals don't have to wait for their gifts. If we end up opening the package you sent off camera, please know that they animals will enjoy them just as much as if it were on camera! Thanks again for your generosity and for being awesome!!
@@animalwondersmontana I’m happy to hear that thank you so much for replying!:) I hope the animals are safe and are well taken care of:) Have à nice day ❤️❤️
