Best How to setup tp-link AX3000 or Archer AX55: This man knows what he’s doing and I never do reviews. Make sure you watch the full video to setup correct settings like the password. I didn’t watch full video at first and couldn’t get setup until I watched full video.
Thank you! At last! I was trying to find pc to pc copy speeds. As I see entry level wifi 6 routers have NO benefit over a wifi 5 router. With my setup I can easily copy with 70MB/s from my pc to server and vice versa (Asus RT-AC87u). Even 125MB/s speed (1gbit lan speed) is not enough for me. So, howcome they can label this router as 3000mbps? That should give a copy speed of 375MB/s (which is more than enough for me. 250-300MB/s would make me happy). I will search other lan copy speed videos also; but my hope is low. I guess I will have to go for 2.5gbit or 5gbit wired setup. This was a thing that I wanted to avoid, because I will need to drill some holes to my walls. :D
Thanks, all my Routers review videos include file copying on the network, take a look at this playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PL3qGVpWh7QbPn9sIcKpItEQNFa2hepq9U
@@KnowledgeSharingTech Actually I am not very concerned about the vpn. I am interested about usb sharing speeds more. If AX72 can give the same usb sharing speeds as AX73, that would be enough for me to go for it. Thanks for the great video sir.
@@mevlutunlu42 I have access to both AX72 and AX73. In practice, found AX72 to be much more stable in performance and thermals. USB share has the same speeds on USB 2.0 interface on both. But USB 3.0 speeds are incredible on AX73. I found huge network interference while using USB 3.0 which is causing instability on 2.4 ghz band. So currently using hard drives with USB 2.0 extender cable. The 2.0 basically has adequate speeds for regular transfer and streaming 4K content. Also boot up time is really slow on AX72. I have provided my input, now you can decide yourselves.
From your range test , can you conclude that Ax55 has a better range , as this video suggest ? i suggest to test speed performance in fix locations for a better comparation , also location behind 2 walls in the condo .
Wow Blacktubi's tests show that the ax73 is almost 2x faster through 2 walls compared to the ax55; and it penetrates walls the best out of all of the WiFi 6 routers they tested. Your findings aren't like that at all! I wonder what's going on here I was going to go for the 73 because of the better range, but now I'm not sure
@@m1ch4l.m98 I got an ax55 because I found one for very cheap. It goes through 3 brick walls no problem , in my case. But it will depend a lot on your walls,as they are all different. Speed wise, I actually only get half of what I get on ethernet , and less than that the further away I go. Not the best. But at least internet never dropped since I bought it 5 months ago and I had no problems with it. I do believe Blacktubi's tests though, ax73 is probably better
@@KendamaRomania Thanks for your fast answer. I am changing my internet provider and this will be the first router what I need to buy ... till now I used the providers routers but now I want something better. I have 3 weeks to choose the right one. The stability is one from the main points what I want, in the past I had a router that needed a restart weekly 3 - 4 times ... nightmare ... I am stepping up from 8 Mbit/s download speed to 150 Mbit/s so if the Wifi speed after 3 walls will be even only the half I will be happy.
First, I commend you for a decent user review. It seems one must wade through a LOT of worthless “reviews” to find anything usefull, and this is. For others reading this, it’s not a professional review, and your personal results will vary. You aren’t in the same house, the same internet vendor, the same RF interference, etc. There are SO many lurking variables, a BUNCH of expensive equipment and RF shields are required to get a professional review. My own testing shows a difference between speeds in the worst corner of my 3200 sq ft. house between the AX5400 and AX3300. I was able to adjust the 6 antenna of the AX5400 to get the full 300Mbs my ISP provides. With the AX3000 (pro model), I can only get 90 Mbs. I assume this is because the 6 antenna of the 5400 give better beam forming to reach that corner, but that’s just an assumption. Too bad my 5400 burned up. I thought I wouldn’t see any difference. I don’t have the router in the most ideal location, so others may do better.
AX5400 xD on 1000Mbps LAN ports xD. In real AX5400 should get about 300MB/s when its get 2,5Gbps LAN PORT ... but noo xD we give aX5400 on 1Gbps ports XD
just tried the ax5400 worst experience i had with a router in my 40 years of using a pc. returned it the same day. when the company that s supposed to send u verification codes keeps timing out theres a big problem wwhen it takes more then 30 secs to receive an email
Thank you for the video .. I'm buying one of these two routers, and i have a range issue with my current old router .. from your test .. i see that there is no big difference between the range of both routers .. do you think I'd better save money and go with the AX55 ??
Do you know if these routers will allow a powered usb hub to connect so i can use it as a media server with 4 external hard drives and will they show up as 4 different shares on the router? I have a lot of movies on external drives and i'd like to get them off from my main PC. Right now I do have them plugged directly to the main PC and it slows the boot time down tremendously while it wakes the drives up to address them before it allows the computer to get out of POST.
To anyone contemplating getting the AX55, I bought one a few days ago and am still not able to successfully connect a hard disk to the USB port and share it across the network. I was able to do this without any issues with my old Archer C8 but am having nothing but problems setting up a shared drive on the AX55. Will be returning it to Amazon soon and looking for something else.
Great video. I purchased the 55 based upon you video. However! It's ethernet. Which won't go into the adsl splitter.....head scratch! Please help. What do I do
The ADSL splitter is an RJ11 connector and it is to connect a phone to the ADSL device. If your ADSL device doesn't have an integrated modem with an RJ45 (Ethernet) connector, then you either must have a modem or a modem/router with an RJ11 (Phone) connector
Hi sir. I install the router to link it has 400mbbs from 2.5GZ.abd 1200 Mbbs in 5 Gh. Our inter net connection is 700mbbs from provider. After installing from router I get only 450mbbs in speed test. Not getting 700mbbs so what will be issue. Even i check the speed without any router. Cable connected from the isp modem through cable I get 700mbbs.when I install the router it doesn't get proper Mbbs can u expline the issue. I change different router all router giving 450mmbs. Not exact one
@@KnowledgeSharingTech Thanks! But who is better in range between those two? Also, what's better for range extending, or good WiFi router or a good WiFi extender/repeater?
Had the AX55 for 3 weeks now and its restarting itself randomly, its done it 5 times, running on latest firmware and its still doing it, Anyone else getting this?
@@KnowledgeSharingTech Restart Sched is off, it does it at random times as well. Fortunately not during gaming but has done it while watching a film. Prob just gona swap it for another one.
What is the difference between the V1 and V2 versions in Tp Link? I heard that this archer tp link in the V2 hardware version is much better than V1 because it is already on a different Chipset. can you help?
Usually what I see with Tp link is that V2-or whatever, has more constant transference speeds, for example I have a V1 o an USB adapter and it reaches 200Mbps sometimes but the V2 gives me more bandwidth and it never goes below 200Mbos like the V1, I've heard that some people thinks has more range but I haven't test that by myself, i guess it doesn't because Ive never had any problem or had any perception of better range.
@@AbdoZaInsert i'm not a kidoo bro , the temps are important. I have the ax55 and had the ax 50 . Pretty much the same , at least the price , but the performance and TEMPS are clearly in favor of ax 55 . Now i'm facing an issue that i have internet on wireless , and i don't have on wired (lan) on ax 55. I don't know if the router is the problem ,but i suspect it is .
I didn't try the AX72 but I checked TP-Link's website and it seems that it doesn't have a VPN client. So I advise you to make sure of that before buying it.
