That reminds me of back during the 1980 Card Sharks game shows host tournament when Alex Trebek called lower on a queen, turned up a king, and said "I thought that was a jack." When Jim Perry turned over his opponent's base card, which turned out to be a jack, he said "Now that's a jack!"

Hoyt went on to spin $1.00 and won 1,000.00 as well. At the Showcase showdown his prizes were a speedboat and a trip to Scotland.... however.... before they showed who won, the show cut off and went to the next episode. Soooo.....does anyone know if he won the finale or not???? I gotta know, lol, he was the cutest little ol man.

I don't get how saving the ace for later would do any good though. Just make the ace what you want (in the last several years of Bob's tenure he encouraged contestants to just tell him what their final bid is with an ace) and be done with it.

Because sometimes the contestant may not know the price yet especially if the first card they draw is an ace. Therefore they'll save it for later

@@LittleRockElevators The contestant doesn't know the actual price at any point during the game, but for the final reveal. So whatever price they have in mind at the start of the game is the price they're playing towards. If they draw an ace as the first card, just do the math (subtract the bank from the price in mind) and apply that value to the ace.

@@mykalimba not unless a person know about cars and their prices. Now when card game is played, whatever vehicle is played for, I have a range in mind, sometimes I be over the price by a couple of hundred dollars.

@@LittleRockElevators I don't think you understand this. We're discussing the value of saving the ace for later in the game. And some of us are saying that there is no reason to save it for later, because the contestant doesn't gain any additional information by playing the game longer. So the contestant should just use the ace when they first draw it, and give it the value that will reach their estimated target price. Does that make sense?

He is from Alabama. At one time dice and cards were illegal in Alabama since they didn't want people gambling. Even to this day, Alabama is one of the few states without a lottery.

I just subscribed to this channel not this 10k world if i hve any thing to say about any thing. It most likely is on a "frequency" w/ 10th planet crash ending some time b4 10k time frame back around orbit w/ sun. The rules are unnecessarily complicated. If an ace is a wild card worth any value the player wishes, why even give the player the option to save it for later?

you couldn't lease a Jeep today for $7649 for a year much less buy one brand new in 2022, heck, a base price of around $35,000. Heck, in beat up condition that same Jeep he won now commonly sells for nearly $10,000 and in mint, those can go for over $50,000.

If diff planet GOD can make a triple word or better score diagonally as HE or SON sees fit for length of best yr there call. ie 30 day month or 29 day month or 27 day mouth all sound spiritual number w/ my blessiing. so length of month of 27,29,30, or 31 r options but number of months to hve same calendar every yr is sound key hard pnt.

See important pnt is in my word used old word old play or NOW word in now play there was a divine loop but my wife broke it then I 2nd ed it killing it off on this devil whack planet. But the way I wanted it w/out my wifes 2cents option added was a better divine loop, not same same opposite or reverse of that. But instead same 3 times or /& opposite. It is easier to see the pattern for Non godly simpleton ppl & still figure it All out.

Only Dian accused him of harassment but, she dropped the case. Bob wrongfully fired Holly on trumped up excuses about her weight and being "difficult to work with" when she refused to back Bob on Dian's harassment case. Years later Holly won her wrongful termination case vs Bob and was awarded millions.
