While not in relation to the TPIR: Barker Era - during the 1985-86 season, there was a nighttime version of The Price is Right hosted by Tom Kennedy. Unfortunately, in most markets it was up against Wheel of Fortune and/or Jeopardy!, Entertainment Tonight and PM Magazine. And if you we're a Saturday Morning nut back in the fall 1985, this NBC Saturday Morning animated series that starred Alvin, Simon and Theodore did one of the episodes that featured The Price is Right titled "The Prize Isn't Right" (November 9, 1985). The answer to that question was: "What is Alvin and the Chipmunks"
