I'm confused so do I remove the RDC receiver first before opening the app and proceeding with the coding out? OR do I keep the RDC receiver plugged in and proceed with the coding out?
@@ot2nie I don`t find that FTM setting from the Cluster settings in Protool !??? Only setting anywhere inside any computer settings related to FTM is under "Chassis menu" and in a "Dsc-stability control settings". In there is a selection "Flat tire Monitor(Not Tpms) Tire puncture warning(RPA)" setting ENABLE/DISABLE.
Is there a way to code in low pressure monitoring using the DSC system like in the 2006 E90 model? I heard this is possible via ECS Expert, but when I contacted the BimmerGeeks for help with their ProTool app their responses were confusing and ultimately didn't answer my question. Coding out the asinine TPMS modules because they constantly fail is great, but I still want to know when I have a low tire.
@@ot2nie I'm asking about the flat tire monitor built into e90s that is independent of the TPMS system. It uses wheel rotation speeds over time to determine if one or more is going flat. It's the system that the 2006 model e90 uses because it doesn't have TPMS modules in the tires or an RDC. I'm asking if this app can enable that? VO $265 needs to be added to enable it, whereas VO $2VB needs to be deleted to remove TPMS. Is Pro Tool for Android capable of doing that?
@@TooSoonJunior I haven't, the FTM menu in my iDrive is there but the initialize button is greyed out and I just haven't had the time to figure it out further
