I have a problem with the architecture of the big Turkish cities, sometimes they are composed of very sterile appartment blocks. But Trabzon with it's rugged landscape is certainly a exception, I really love this part of Turkey, the mountainous hinterland of the Black Sea region is so beautiful.

My goodness Ayşenur, ne güzel! The level of handicrafts in Turkey must be one of the highest in the world, and there seems to be no end to the tasty food comibinations Turks can come up with. Dondurma and helva sandwich! The silver is really beautiful, though I normally prefer gold. Next time we want to see you in one of those traditional costumes of your home region! 😀🌷🇹🇷🇿🇦

Trabzon has grown!!!! I flew into a military airfield on a domestic flight from Istanbul in '87, to meet my new husband's family. Hagia Sofia was an unloved ruin on a grassy knoll with those amazing frescos open to the elements. Atturk's summer house was a major highlight of history. I was given a set of Trabzon chainmail and some of the silver filigree flowers you showed as wedding presents. My sister-in-law made the köfte nearly every day for 3 weeks so I would eat more than just toast! Another friend of my husband's got me a small jar of nescafe to keep with me because they were worried about the amount of Turkish coffee was drinking.

Those bracelets were gorgeous 😍. I prefer silver. I've been by the Black Sea region in Bulgaria and the architecture of the older buildings is very similar. Nice.

ONE VOTE FOR SILVER I agree with you about the costumes. I would wear the one at 2:45. I have to share your videos. People don't know about Turkey not at all! The silver filigree is exquisite... I much prefer silver to wear. I'm a 'cool' skin tone and silver brightens up my face, it looks brighter on my skin.
