You'll never here main stream pop sing about how great america is and the sacrifices our military makes. I'm a marine vet and it breaks my heart how many Americans show no respect for our country.
Country ppl that our respect taking our hat off just like we don't eat at the dinner table at with our hat on and take our hat off when you talk to a woman taking our hat off when we walk in to a house that country
I lost my husband in Iraq in 2004. I do all I can for our military, it's also important to remember their families. My husband passed 1 month before our son was born. Our daughter was 2.
Some gave all. This includes you and your children. I am forever humbled and grateful that there are those willing to risk their lives for people they don't even know. This goes for our military men and women, police officers, and firefighters, as well as others.
It doesn't matter what genre of music a person listens to if this song doesnt touch your heart or bring a lump in your throat..esp when the cadets sang at the end...then your heart is smaller than the Grinch's. Much love and respect to the fallens ones and active duty military. A big salute to YOU sushi for reacting to this.
Uh there's one up above asking for praise. Pisses me off. That's not why we serve. I'm a combat vet and it pisses me off seeing people seeking praise for something we signed up for willingly.
Us country people love our country, our flag and understand free isn’t free. Thank you to all who serve or served God Bless. Thanks for showing this one 🙏🤠😍
I was a submariner as well. 20 years including training and shore duty. Best job in the Navy. Thank you for your support and thanks to him for his service. Our military is great because we volunteer.
@@chrishand259 thank you for your service. He did volunteer and has worked hard, now with a wonderful wife he met in basic. They have 2 beautiful sons. ❤
When you have George Strait giving you a standing ovation, that's when you know you are someone important. Much love to that young man and all those who serve and protect my family every day and night.
This is why it's imperative that we wake up as a nation and put only the people that support our Military and our Republic in office and additionally only allow people that want to conform to our American values to migrate here ...so all the wars and death of all these young men will not have been for nothing.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE AND RESPECT FOR OUR MILITARY MAN AND WOMAN OF OUR ARMED FORCES. SOME CAME HOME AND OTHERS GAVE IT ALL FOR LOVE OF COUNTRY. MUCH LOVE TO YOU SUSHI . ❤
Wounded warrior project ensured I had warm clothes to airlift back home after being medi-vaced out of Afghanistan in 2012. This song has so much meaning to me and my family . . . Thank you Mr. Atkins and the Westpoint Glee Club . . . Your reaction is priceless and so should any US citizen . . . Hooo-rah
@@dannybarnes26 I was just wondering if "Danny Barnes" was an old friend from my past that he and I worked together for the same company for many years. He was about 6'2" around 275, 300 lbs, haven't seen or heard from him in several years now. Thanks, have a great weekend.
It's because of my brother in arms at the beginning of this video and my beloved son who was in Aphganistan 10 percent of my paycheck is sent to wounded warriors project. Sp4 John F. Taormina 1966-1972
Arlington is a good one too. He's big on military. So is Toby Kieth(Angry American) try it. Very half and half. Either you understand him or you hate what he says. He wrote it for 9/11 twin towers
Wait there’s Americans that hate that song!? Really!? Ugh that makes me very sad. Mean, I guess people that are to young, but that just feels like an excuse.
Hi, Too Sushi! Check out Rory and Jory "When I'm Gone" It's a husband wife duo but she is dieing from cancer and wrote and sang this song for her husband before she past away.
Great reaction! All too often we take our freedoms for granted, wether it be freedom of speech, or simply running safely to the store. Our military helps make this possible. I appreciate you showing gratitude to our soldiers,
I came across this. And I like to say thank you. When I see things like this it makes me feel like I wasn't fighting for nothing. I was there for all not some.
Such a BEAUTIFUL tribute to our TROOPS!!!! I love each and every one of you!!!! I thank EVERY service member EVERY TIME I SEE ONE!!!! I look for the hats, bumper stickers, vest etc. I have even chased them (even police officers) through grocery stores to thank them! I try EACH AND EVERY TIME to be loud and proud to shake they're hand , look them in the eye and say God bless you and thank you for your service"!!!! I have had them cry, tear up get emotional in so many ways!!! I tell them to thank they're family's as well for sacrifices! I've done this for SO MANY YEAR'S!!! I've thanked a Marine in a Verizon store one day and it blew his mind because he said he lived and was from New York and NEVER got his hand shake! AMERICANS.... STOP... SHAKE AND SAY THANK YOU!!!! It 5akes NOTHING! We're FREE IN THIS COUNTRY BECAUSE OF THEM!!!!!! Just say ......... THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!! We're a good American y'all, they stepped up, I'm sure we can do the same! 🤗
Again, just thank you for your respect and appreciation. I elaborated in a comment on another video you reacted to of Trace's. Just everyone, please respect the flag of our country. As the song says, it's not about the war, it's about the warrior. No political agenda is larger than the sacrifices our servicemen and women make.
Having served in the Marines during Desert Shield / Desert Storm (I spent that time in Okinawa) I didn't think a lot about it. At 19 I didn't think about what could happen if we were called. Now I have a 21 year old son and 23 year old nephew in Afghanistan, songs take a whole new meaning. These are hard for me to watch. I do watch them but its usually later in the evening when everyone else is sleeping. I have a tough time holding back tears........
Young lady this soldier salutes you. I have been to the sandbox and back several times and your review has touched me more then i had expected. I recieve thanks all of the time from older folks but to hear you describe the meaning behind that performance i will never forget!
What amazes me is the choir behind him - they are college students who have actively chosen to make this their career - and they are singing in the voice of one who is tired and ready to rest. They could walk away, but they will pick up a rifle and stand a post.(Figuratively - they will be officers. But they are still willing to do what is necessary to preserve our freedom and our way of life. Hats off to them.)
My family has a history of military men in all branches...sobbed through this 😢😢😢 Thanks to all military personnel for your service past...present and future and to those families who lost loved ones...🇺🇸 ❤ 🇺🇸
From a Veteran to you Miss Sushi, thank you for taking the time to open your heart to us. We do what we do expecting nothing from anyone beyond them living the fullest life possible because that is why we do it in the first place. It is an honor to serve, a privilege to wear the uniform so many brave souls wore so that every single American ever born gets a chance. I am grateful for my great grandparents being protected by those before me and for people like you that keep our country moving while we are away. Without the American people that work and grow businesses, we would have nothing to defend.
YES...LOVE ME SOME TRACE! Country Artists are very active with the military. Trace and Toby Keith spend more time touring overseas entertaining our troops than touring in the US. There’s a lot of footage for you to see.
The Country Music Awards/ Academy of Country Music have been the only show I've seen that actually acknowledges troops, much less honors them in any way. I'm not a huge country fan anymore, but them and Rock really support the troops a lot and are the main acts that came to the bases I was stationed at. I'll never forget that. Another song you might look into is Still in Saigon by Charlie Daniels and Devour by Shinedown. Shinedown wrote Devour after visiting troops in Iraq early in the war.
Sushi ,I love you for the fact that you feel what yjou are seeing and hearing in these videos. DON'T EVER CHANGE. Always keep your tender side,,this was a beautiful song, Trace Adkins does. Have a BEAUTIFULL voice.
@SUSHI Your true appreciation for the military is real, as a US Army Vietnam Veteran I appreciate you! i subscribed to your channel over others because of this honorable appreciation. You do a great job, have fun stay real.
This hits home. I have been active duty for almost 10 years, and pray that I never have to experience/help others through the experience of losing those closest to us. On another note, I completely understand it, and can relate. The job is the job, we do it for you, for our loved ones, for those who don’t even appreciate it. ❤️ you. Thanks!
As a Nam vet- Bien Hoa 1966 I thank you for this! Your reactions are from the heart. You are as beautiful inside as you are outside. Thank you again. Love you
I just ran across this reaction video of yours , it reminded of a young who was like a son to me. We met at a gym and hit it off and started training together, everyone asked if he was my son.A girl walked up to him one night and asked him if I was his dad, with a smile on his face he said yes. As we got closer he told me he was in the Marine corps and was in the middle east on three tours. On his last tour his unit was ambushed and he was the only one let alive. This was to much for him to live with and he took his own life. There not a day goes by that I don't think of him.I proudly wear his dog tags around my neck.I was driving home one day from a hunting trip in my truck with his dog tags hanging from my mirror when this song came on , driving down the highway with tears running down my face. It was like I was ment to hear it because I had been thinking about him on my trip telling my buddies I wish that he would have been with me. The song is I drive your truck by Lee Bruce. Rest in peace my son, your with me every day.
As a wounded VietNam veteran I appreciate this video Too Shushi, and I appreciated the CMA as well as Trace Adkins who is a huge backer of the "Wounded Warrior Project. Very powerful song, very powerful message and finally I want to salute all of the fallen soldiers from all wars for their courage but especially those who served with me in VietNam and never came back. I visited the VietNam memorial in DC and read the names of some of those I knew personally and had to be led away by my son who was there with me because I was unable to do it myself, I was so heartbroken and sad and crying...God Bless those who died in the service of their country, whether you believe in war or not, those kids are there still today, I pray that they all come home safely! Again thank you Sushi!
I served 2 tours in Iraq, on my second tour our vehicle was hit by a roadside IED. I lost two brothers and my right leg that day. Life has been tough ever since then. I can live without my leg but I’ve struggled to live without my two buddies. Songs like these hurt, but they make me happy that people like Trace Adkins sheds light on the military and creates songs like this. Semper Fi! I love you Michael and Jarron, may you forever rest in piece.
You like the deep voices, Try Tracy Lawrence: Paint me a Birmingham, Find out who your friends are; Texas Tornado, I see it now, Time marches on, If the world had a front porch, Stars over Texas and or As any fool can see!! All of these were hits for him and I think you'd love them all.. Also Ronnie Milsap: What a difference you made in my life, Smoky Mountain Rain, I wouldn't have missed it for the world, Pure Love, Prisoner of the highway which tells the story of being a longhaul Truck Driver. Keep it up girl and make this your best day ever!!!
I as a combat vet (iraq) want to tell you how much I appreciate you for putting this video on and appreciating the u s soldier and a big thank you to trace adkins,it feels good to know that it wasn't in vain
As Retired Military, I not only love your reaction videos I really like that you show your appreciation of our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen. Thank You.
I so appreciate your words of gratitude for our military. As the Mom of a former Marine, songs like this really give me chills. Thank you for what you do.
Flys our flags, I hear it all the time from people overseas, their astounded at how we love and respect our military. Every last one always says that they are sad that their country doesn’t honor their veterans like we do. Thank you for your very respectful opinion of this song. It’s about how our soldiers that have died are waiting for peace, so they can go on to heaven.
Trace is an incredible story teller through music. Wonderful heart and soul is conveyed through his music. One of many songs he does, that moves my soul, is called "Muddy Water". I would love to hear your reaction to this beautiful redemption song.
I either sing That’s My Job or play it for my son every night that I put him to bed. He is six now and have done it since he was a baby. The most precious thing in the world is him singing it back as he drifts off
Country music is no joke. It pulls emotions out of you that you never knew existed. I found your page today and I'm already a big fan. Country teaches us that it's on to cry. Plus what pickup not to buy....
I am a new subscriber. And, I have to say that I am touched at how you react to military themed videos. They hit me hard, too. Every time I hear The Star Spangled Banner I get teary eyed because the words hit me. We are retired now but, my husband served for just over 20 years in the United States Air Force. I was proud to stand beside him through that but, it's definitely not an easy existence. Thank you for giving props to the military and their families.
Hey Sushi, This song hits deep into a warriors soul. I’m currently a 100% Disabled Veteran when I got hurt in Beirut in 1983 after the terrorist bombing of the military barracks. Thank you for your support of our military. Tony
I call you Queenie because you ARE a queen. I love your presentations and your heartfelt reactions. It takes a lot of courage to go where you go with your venue. I'm sick of the clowns and the woke ass crap from other reactionaries. Thanks again Queenie.
Trace Adkins is an absolutely amazing singer, you should take a listen to some of his other music when you have the chance. Great react, love all the reacts you are doing!
