We dont want increased crime from migrants like your country and Sweden. We dont want to become a police state against its own citizens for Wrong Think like your country or use our history against us for open borders like your country. But most of all we deserve the right to control the UK future not Germany or Brussels.

I see that you have arrogant and pompous view of the working class but more importantly you hate the most important thing in democracy- the will of the people without that we are not democracy just a police state for your type of people. Also to add major conglomerates wanted to stay so they could control and corrupt the government as well as stop all small business competiton, they politicians want to stay to keep the bribes and power they get from EU. You also brought up immigration well honestly no one want the EU controling our border which is just open borders with extra steps and leave are sick of having British Blood no matter the race being spilled for people who dont want to live like us, share are culture or values. I for one hope that if something were to happen that caused me to flee my homeland, that another country like Germany would be kind and compassionate enough to take me in.
I like what Tracy Ullman did with the character. (I also liked the skit where Nicola Sturgeon tried to steal Angela Merkel's frumpy beige pantsuit look) But I think, politically speaking, it's a bit delusional that she'd think of Angela Merkel as isolated. She'll patch up her grand coalition and stay in the EU - you're the ones rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. I bet my beige lip liner that we'll get to March and there will still be no plan about whether you want to stay in the single market or not.

Merkel was called Die Mutti.. mom, mummy, of her nation, and she is still loved and respected,.. so make your conclusion of that
false, the Merkel coalition is working. It was longer then expected, but Germany always make good political deals for stability.. at least from 50 years !!!!
Zokll Ehbfd Her politics is not loved and neither respected by the majority. She didn’t win the last election as you may have noticed. Many people find her likeable but on a strictly personal level.
800K is a bit too much relative to everything. Germany still needs to exist. There is no point crippling a country just to achieve one purpose. What about the German people existing in Germany who have worked hard to build the country? Do they deserve some compassion too to have some peace and security in their own country? And besides if it's the refugees' home that's the problem, let's focus on fixing their home which would be fixing the problem at its source instead of offering the band-aid solution of displacing them elsewhere in environments that they are not even familiar with. Don't you think that's a better solution?
I am just surprised WHY did she decide to take in SO MANY. Does Germany have border checks, security checks to assess the suitability of the immigrants?
The population of Germany is 80 million and so 800 thousand represents about 1%. For the most amusing comparison I could find: that's roughly the percentage of people with genitalia that differ from the standard male or female form.
