A British comedian in the early 80s singing a Motown, Supremes-inspired song written in the late 70s. If Diana Ross or Martha and The Vandellas had sung this song in their heyday, nobody would have batted an eye. The music video is so well done and still holds up like gangbusters today, despite the dated sets and styles. And somehow, this really works as the theme song for Tracey Takes On. It was like the song was written for the show.
what a sweet song! Used to listen to this driving around on Highway 1 near San Simeon. Was hopelessly in love, and this captured the way I felt completely. bygone days.

I discovered this song this year and have been a fan since she had her show on Fox back in the mid 80's. I find it amusing that she used to wear miniskirts back in the days when singing this song.
Random German woman with glasses holding disturbing life size doll at 1:51 makes this version superior to the others from the same performance tour for TOTPs, etc.
