I'm pretty sure it took 48 hours was because they realised the GM search would be much harder if the new GM was stuck with Judge.

@@dpistons149 Bruh, you sound butt hurt. He literally explained that he doesn't have as much arm strength or power as the others. How is that disrespectful? Who has a stronger arm over Brady? Allen, Mahomes, Herbert, Murray, Watson, Dak, Rodgers and a couple of others. Brady is the goat but Allen could do what Brady is doing in TB, so could Herbert, Burrow and some others.

It amazes me that everyone in the media is saying "Why did it take two days?". It's an embarrassing sign of failure to go through three coaches in six years and that obviously weighed on ownership's mind. The point is the trigger was pulled and he's out - now let's do it the right way with a new GM picking the new Coach etc. Enough of this nonsensical "two days" talking point.

You know I'm not a Giants fan and I agree Judge had to go. However, he won five games each year with possibly the very worst roster in the league. Definitely the worst offensive line. I'm surprised he even won that many.

Joe Judge had no chance to grow as a head coach being in a team with Gettleman. He never really had a winning team to begin with. While he talked too much and over-rationalized for the team’s failure, he ended up being the front man fall guy. Everyone ignore the fact that the mastermind of the team’s failure, really was Dave Gettleman.

We really don't know if Mayock is a good GM or not. He says the right things in pressers usually, but who cares, so do politicians. That's just slogans and bumper sticker cliches. All those picks and signings were either chosen by Gruden or had to be approved by Gruden; that's been admitted openly by the owner. So I guess keep Mayock another year and see what he can really do. It's going to be an interesting off-season for the Raiders regardless.
