These dogs actually look happy and also look healthy. They’re only racing a short distance and after a toy. But I wanna know that tf that toy is 😂😂

I hate the big million dollar industry races, but this video was enjoyable to watch and how all greyhound racing should be done. Dogs and people just having a good time doing what they love. Thanks for the upload!

They all look like they're in good shape, they didn't run away or cringe from their handlers and seemed to have a good time. I don't see anyone smacking or whipping their dogs at the start, I don't see any spiked collars, I don't see any negative treatment of the losing dogs. I just see dogs happy to chase down a target. I'm sure they had a nice big gulp of water shortly after the race, you don't want to let them drink right away after a race, they're bodies are so full of endorphins that they'll end up drinking too much too fast and just expel it right back up. Gotta let them settle down for a few minutes, catch their breath, and then let them drink. It may be a different story behind the scenes, I'm basing this opinion just off of what I see here. The only thing I'd be worried about is the sudden stop from a full run to the target coming to a sudden stop. I'd much rather see them gradually slow down to prevent any unnecessary strain on the bones/joints.
