There are benefits on Trackaxle trailers - like less rubber going down onto the road, less power required to get the truck through turns and therefore less emissions, tyre scrub is negligible....
That'd be interesting to drive, but I wonder if it would last as long as GMs 4 wheel steer they HAD on the Silverados.. what six months. I could see this being a benefit tho
I wonder how to unload the cargo in the middle container while its door is jammed by the second container ? are those only for empty containers trucking only?
looks like a lot of technical... and a lot of technical means a lot of parts that can get damage in the normal workin days.. idea is great, but wouldnt trust yet...
it's a bit fastforward. look at the people walking around. their moving a bit too fast. at 0:13 there's a guy at top right which lifts his legs left right. look how fast he is. lol. so this thing is actually incredibly slow. using a fort lift is faster and easyer to position. a 1.5 tonn fork lift can easely handle a 20 to ntrailer, to back it up even on a slight slope. done that with 20 ton of carrots at unloading bay. so a bigger forklift truck could handle 2 X20 ton way way faster than this.
