This was the first time I watched Trackdown. Wish they made more episodes. Always liked Robert Culp, He was great in “Hannie Caulder” (1971). Lee Van Cleef and Stuart Whitman as bad guys areal treat. Thank you for posting these classic tv series.
I never used to like watching black and white shows until I came across this show. This show got me interested in watching other shows like Rawhide and Wagon Train!
@D. D.D. I have started watching Have Gun Will Travel and Tombstone Territory which l like; but l find that I am totally hooked on the black and white half hour episodes of Gunsmoke. I’ve watched some of the color hour long episodes, but l don’t like them as much because they’re not out and about on the prairie too much and it’s just so obvious that they’re on a set! The main writer on the show reminds me of Shakespeare; he really understood human nature!
Hoby Gilman was a great character. He wasn't the biggest or the strongest but he was tough, and no matter how bad the situation he always kept his head. He didn't panic. The other thing with these old westerns was how many little truths you could find. At 17.30 when he says he's scared he's never killed anyone before. The other says you're just worried the ranger might be killing you. Isn't that what we're all afraid of - getting hurt. Such a shame shows like these are not on anymore. People are scared of what might happen.
a very young stuart whitman there. & very handsome. he's in These Thousand Hills with don murray, richard egan, & lee remick. very good movie (western), if you get a chance to see it- on here.
Esta era uma série boa de ver, quando puder você pode postar adventures of kit Carson law of boot hill? Este capítulo é com Lee van cleef que era fera em faroestes. 😊😊😊
Karen, you have quite a few Trackdown episodes poste...would you happen to have the episode 1.21 that has Steven McQueen's first appearance as Josh Randell "The Bounty Hunter and, if so, post it when you get the chance?
Oh man, in the saloon, I had the feeling Hoby should have just walked out with his gun intact. I doubt they would have shot him in the back. But that would have ruined the whole plot. After he jumped the guy in the stable, I was amazed he didn't take the gun belt and other pistol as back up. I sure would have.
James Smith. You are absolutely right old Angel 👀 Eyes Lee Van Cleef is playing a bad guy one of the best bad guy actors I think he's simply adorable 🙂 April 13,2021
