Haha used to drive a diesel and blew it up. My ram 5.7 hemi tows better than that thing did anyway. Plus it is supped up. Haha just towed this boat all the way across the country with it and had no problems. Plus i aint rich cant afford those 100,000 dollar boats. Haha
Oh nice, good tip. I never got into it because i thought i might buy a new unit for the front. So i was being lazy and haven't ran wires through boat yet, but i might now. Haha

Hey when you changed out the FF we’re you able to reuse the same holes in the transom? On mine it Looks like they have threaded inserts not just sheet metal screws for the stock hook one and they look like they’d line up with the New one pretty well I DO NOT want to make new holes in the boat if I can avoid it
hey just bought one of these yesterday - a 22 also with the 50 but to anyone whose looking: the prices have gone WAY up (and the salesman showed me the 23 price list - going up another 1-2k across the line) but still seems like a pretty good buy for what you get. loved the video style its a nice casual no BS walkthrough you helped me make up my mind that this is what I wanted. Im just getting into fishing so it seems like a great first boat. hey if youre ever really bored -I mean really bored: how do you launch and load that thing by your self? Im gonna have to figure it out pretty soon and as near as I can tell only about 2 fit on this boat since there are only 2 seats is that true?? - great walk through and review
Nice on the boat purchase! Yeah, man prices have gone up, but it is still a good deal for a nice boat for sure. And glad my little vid helped you. Hopefully I can get out this weekend and I could do a quick vid of how to launch it by yourself and get it out early next week. I'll try if I can get time off work. You can fit three people in it and they can just sit between the seats when you are running, but the deck is a little small to comfortably fish with three, but you can do it no problem if you don't mind being a tad crowded.

@@RedBeardBassin yes it is - perfect starter boat for me and the launch / recover videos you did helped a lot also - one break in cruise so far and then last trip was trying to figure out the trolling motor and fishing, a couple of solid bites but no catch ---- YET! -- next project is moving the hook FF up front and getting my Garmin installed at the console maybe tomorrow well see.

It is all i need for our tiny lakes here in colorado and I am also a shallow water angler so having a tougher aluminum is great for me. That hook unit is trash I got rid of it after the first time out. 😂

Well, that wasn't an option! Haha really i would like spot lock, but I'm more of a shallow water guy and spot lock would be cool, but I don't really need it 90% of the time. But, I don't think the 50hp engine is that much better than the 40 anyway. I literally bought the 50 because it was in stock. Haha long answer, but can i have em all!!!??? 😂
Also, the 50hp was like 1000 bucks more than the 40 and an ultrex trolling motor is like 2000 more than the edge trolling motor. Haha i love your question!
