You'd be surprised how tight they will hunker down. They usually take off in that kind of open though. I have been pushing on drives before and have had them bust mere yards away or just lay there completely still. The buck I got last fall while still hunting stood up at 10 yards from me and I didn't even see him until then.
Hi, maybe I missed something but earlier in the video when you were in the truck you said that it was 11oclock. Later in the video, while you were tracking, the clock read 9:58 am. I was jumping around on the video. Was the tracking done the following day?
