I’m 36 lived my whole life in central VT and I’ve kept a hunting journal since I was 9 and it’s already fun to look back through it. Highly recommended
Everyone thinks us hunters are terrible people out to hurt animals. But its so not true as a hunter myself i love wildlife and would have stopped to do the same anytime i see an animal in distress . . Most hunters are great compassionate "ethical" people
Also, Eastern coyotes are larger than their western counterparts, with some studies showing that Eastern dogs are indeed part wolf due to crossbred wolves and coyotes.
Fellow northern Vermonter here. Fascinating topics & conversations today. Let us all pray that better messaging, solid science & existing skill of these experts can protect us all from ballot box ecology. Gosh VT is worth it.
Gordie Marcel lmao 😂 you say Timmy cried because he was going to miss you ? I’m positive it was in fact you who cried because you were going to miss Timmy ! You actually had some weird feelings for one another . I can tell so many stories. I’m Timmy’s ex wife and went thru the days of the deer 🦌. Nice to hear from you all . There are so many more stories you could tell and I promise you never took Timmy’s pants 👖! Dude , good story tho 😂😂😂
👍fun nice!!! Great you have it on film!!!! me and some friends have been trying to do some filming. I seem to kill my deer by myself with dead batteries or all you see is my arm😂lol
Hey quick question here, What scope mounts are on that MK3? I have an LL Cote Carbine MK3 on order, looking at mounts for it now. I like the looks of those.
I had the same thing happen with my glasses and scope ! Had steam come up from my chest and fogged glasses and scope! Finally shot a 6 pointer in Rockingham vt
I really enjoy these podcasts with our more seasoned peers. I could listen to them speak all day, thanks for getting these conversations rolling and archived. I hope you can keep them coming.
What a fantastic episode. As a bird hunter and pointing dog owner I have always been fascinated with hound hunting. You are right, we all need to stick together as hunting dog owners and hunters. The folks that want to do away with our lifestyle don't differentiate between types of dogs and types of hunting.
We are in an all out war against houndsmen in SC right now. It's not Peta, It's not uneducated civilians, it's not DNR. It's other deer hunters. They just do not understand hound hunting. We are at war with our own people. This podcast is monumental in educating!
