In SE N.C. we received 13.3 inches of rain. Some of the bands contained torrential rain with gusty winds. The 13.3 was over a three day event and all is well here. Thanks be to God!
I was actually in North Carolina last week for a family vacation and we got home on Saturday. We go to Oak Island and we can see Myrtle Beach from where we go. We got out of there just in time.
As usual my part of NC has been ignored. We have had howling, whistling winds and very heavy rain since early this morning but you stand there blocking us completely and never mention our plight. I clicked here trying to get updates on the storm but instead get to hear about the eastern part of the state. As usual!
